I'm sorry to hear about his condition and hope he got better. I take no pleasure in writing this and I will promptly remove it when the situation is over.

18/04: Sent initial mail regarding: Bioforge, Tex Murphy: Overseer, Conspiracy, Gobliins (cd version), Gobliins 3
22/04: Got response from Jay and the price
22/04: Asked for updated price using priority mail instead of mediamail
22/04: Got the updated price and the confirmation that he will ship on 27th
22/04: Asked him for preferred payment method
22/04: Jay created the trade
22/04: Sent the money and gave him my address
14/05: No word/package from Jay, sent another mail asking about the problem
??/05: Profile is updated; he apologises for the delays caused by medical problems
20/05: Suggested canceling the trade if it's inconvenient for him
12/06: Generic email answer from Jay, confirming his health problems. Also, promises to have the games sent by the first week of July
14/07: Still no news. Again, I suggested canceling the trade and returning the money I sent.

The last login for his account is on July 15, which means he got that last email. There was no answer since then.

My story is the same as all the others who have had to report Jayas a bad trader, I had very litle contact after I sent my games off. Nothing has been heard since July.
I wish Jay well and will be delighted to remove this report as soon as I receive my side of our agreement.

I mailed my games off on April 13, 2002 with delivery confirmation, so I know he received it.
I emailed him several times and didnt get a response. He posted on his GameTZ page that he was ill and had been in the hospital for several weeks off and on.
In that light I didnt want to bother him to much, however, he did say he would get his games out sometime in July. This is August and I have emailed several times, asking about health and not being rude.
I didnt want to have to report him as a bad trader with his health problems, but I have been left with no other option.
I dont have dates of everything as I changed computers but I have honestly tried to contact him and he has not responded.

I sent him a game over 90 days ago, and still have not gotten the trade game in return.

Details of the trade: Jay contacted me n 4/11, and suggested a trade, my Wolf Age III for his Battle Realms. I agreed, and as his rating was so much better, I was happy to ship first. I shipped within a few days. I wrote to him on 5/2, enquiring whether he got the game, and if he'd shipped yet. He wrote back the next day, saying his health was bad, but it would go out the next Saturday. I wrote again on 5/29. He wrote back on 6/11,and assured he would send by the first week of July. Now I just got the notification that my trade has been deleted because its been PENDING for over 90 days. At this point, I have to admit I've been ripped off.

We agreed that i'll pay him 15$ for the game "Full Throutle".

after i sent him the money he said it's not enough becuase it doesn't include the shipping rates. we agreed that he will tell me whats the costs for the shipping, after he'll sent it, but it never happened.

The guy didn't answer my emails, and after 3 months of waiting my patience has reached his end.

My recommandtion is to not trade with this guy.

We set up a trade on 4/15. My Dungeon Siege for his Jedi Outcast game.
I sent my part of the deal immediately that week. He let me know that he only ships on Saturdays and would send his then. When I didn't receive the game I emailed him to find out what was going on.

I got email notice on 4/24 about his stay in the hospital and that his brother would send the game that Saturday, 4/27. On 5/3 I wrote him again and he said that he had not sent it yet and that it would go out the next day. He said he'd been in and out of the hospital and that everything was a mess.

At this point I'm wondering if he died. Seriously. I haven't heard from him since 5/3 and now his email address is invalid. He had excellent ratings up until this point too and does not seem like a bad trader to me. I am also concerned about the lack of communication. I've tried emailing him repeatedly and nothing. I also got a bounce back the other day from his original email address.

April 25, payment mailed from my side

May 15, inquired as to whether payment received and if game shipped, no reply
May 16, inquired once again, no reply

May 22, no communication from Jay since April 25, when we negotiated, when he emailed promptly and regularly

June 12, he emailed me stating that he's health was better, and was planning to mail the package out

July 30, seven weeks later since his last email, and over 3 months since we agreed on the trade/purchase....NOTHING.

Reason for Bad Trade report: Concerned about his lack of communication,
his status on Game Trading Zone is no longer active, and no way of
verifying and rectifying a trade that most likely has gone bad.
