UPDATE: I am updating on the current BTR I already have on this person. Further details of that report can be located directly below this update. William responded claiming that he would send me another game as compensation for sending me the wrong game originally and that I only wanted 49.99 titles. This is false. I asked about several 19.99 priced games on his list, but he declined all of them. He said he didn't want to send me any games he plays still. Then, two weeks or so ago, he finally states that he'll just send me 10 dollars cash to resolve the BTR. Preferring a game, I reluctantly agreed.

About two weeks pass by, and after hearing nothing else from him, I ask him about the trade. Below is the actual conversation;

slimymeteor: abandoning the agreement
TarHeelFan1588: i guess so
slimymeteor: not sending me anything?
TarHeelFan1588: i dont guess so
slimymeteor: why not?
TarHeelFan1588: cant help i the other guy will not send MP4 back and i dont have the money to recompensate
slimymeteor: then, send me a different game and ill send army men back.
slimymeteor: this is extremely unfair to me
TarHeelFan1588: unfair to me to to compensate with another game
slimymeteor: Nope, that's false.
slimymeteor: considering mario party 4 is 35 dollars and im asking for a 20 dollar game.
slimymeteor: its still unfair to me, but im willing to do that.
TarHeelFan1588: ill pass
slimymeteor: you did this on purpose. you wanted me to send first so you could purposely con me.
TarHeelFan1588: no i didnt
slimymeteor: yes you did, and you're making no effort to resolve it.
slimymeteor: mail fraud is also illegal.
TarHeelFan1588: i did not con you the guy will not send the game back and its nothing i can do
slimymeteor: something you can do is give me compensation
slimymeteor: either money or cheaper game. its your responsibility
TarHeelFan1588: ill pass
TarHeelFan1588: i tried to resolve this with u by sending MI OS back but you wont take it and i have no money to compensate and im not giving a game that i still play to you
slimymeteor: I ALREADY HAVE THE GAME.
TarHeelFan1588: so?
TarHeelFan1588: take another copy i dont even like the game it was only played once
slimymeteor: i already played through army men 2 long ago, and had given it to a sibling. i really dont need another copy, but, i still got that anyway, didnt i
TarHeelFan1588: i tried to get MP4 back BUT HE WONT SEND IT BACK IM NOT GIVING UP TO GOOD GAMES JUST TO PLEASE YOU I GOT SCAMMED OUT OF MP4 AS WELL SO IM IN THE SAME DANG POSITION YOUR IN
dead black woman: it was YOUR mistake, not mine, but i'm the one being punished for it; not you. you still got everything you wanted.

This is just some of the conversation that we had, but, you get the idea. We had some legal discussions as well, but we won't get into that here. I just wanted to post these excerpts from the conversation as to show others that this guy is NOT very well to deal with, either, when it comes to trading.

ORIGINAL BTR BELOW:::

On June 13th, this person contacts me interested in two games of mine. I take a gander at his collection and we work out a reasonable trade, and pend it through the system. William had never had a trade before at that time, and he had only just signed up at UGTZ. I had 2 completed trades, receiving excellent ratings from both traders.

Regardless, he demanded that I send first anyway. I'm a reasonable guy so I suggested that I'll send first, then give him the tracking number to show him that I sent. After receiving the number, he'd send immediately. The next day, on June 14th, I sent the package and forwarded him the delivery confirmation number. He responded with this email:

"got your email went to ship games but Post Office was close early so ill have to get there tomm. and ill send you the tracking number"

Post offices rarely close early and only do so under extreme circumstances, but I understand that it does happen and I didn't mind. However, the next day came and went. Eventually, on June 19th, I got this email from him:

"Sorry about the long delay but ive been very busy working and all and havent been able to get to the Post Office but your games will be in the mail first thing monday morning again very sorry about the long delay "

So, even though he hadn't sent out immediately as he had promised, I wasn't mad at all because at least he had been communicating. The delay was a bit irksome, but not a problem. I'm very reasonable. Eventually, on June 22nd, he finally sent the package. I received it a few days later.

In the package, one of the games was correct, but the other was not. Instead of Mario Party 4, which retails for 34.99, I received Army Men Air Attack 2 which retails for 14.99. The trade was for Mario Party 4, not Army Men Air Attack 2. He sent a game that was 20 dollars worth of lesser value, even though one of the games I sent him was even unopened and still in the package. He had definately conned me.

Keeping my cool, I contacted him asking me why I had Army Men instead of Mario Party 4. He claims he had sent out more packages of games that same day and must have mixed them up and sent MP4 to a different trader. I kindly asked him to find out where my game was and properly exchange it for me. I realize mistakes do happen, if he truly did this on accident, but it's heavily unfair to me if we were to leave this like it was, especially considering the patience and fairness I had already given him thus far.

William contacts me a few days later saying that another trader got it, but didn't feel like paying the three bucks shipping to send the game back to him. I informed William that since it was his 'mistake', it was his responsibility to cover the shipping charges for the trader to get the right game back so we could properly go through with our original transaction. William responded by saying, "there's nothing i can do".

He got away with sending me a game of 20 dollars lesser value that I had no interest in whatsoever. I sent my package first upon his demand, even though he had 0 feedback and I had some. He also didn't send the package immediately like he had promised. He definately conned me in this situation. I tried to resolve the problem but apparently he wasn't as eager as resolving it as I was. Traders, beware of this one.

You took most of those sayings out of context i shipped six games on monday morning like i said and misplaced the game in another package i know it is my fault but if the guy would rather keep MP4 what else can i do i would pay for shipping back bnut he wont send it back because he wants it more than Army Men, I tried to resolve successfully but with no success.

I also offered to give slimy another game for compensation but he refused and only wanted my newer titles which are 49.99 if I have to I will send Mission Impossible Operation surma back which was only played once and still in mint condition if this would help resolve this BTR. I made a mistake and I admitted it but when a guy refuses to ship back what more can I do.
