Make a fire for a man and he'll be warm for a day; set fire to a man and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Note: My VERY GOODs are usually excellent in my eyes, but I go to very good on some just because you and I are different and our ideas of condition aren't the same. I will say, however, I take care of all my games and am usually very picky about condition. I hate scratches and rips, so I tend to try and get the best copy I can. Also, my house is smoke-free/pet-free, so no unwanted surprises will be shipped. Thanks!
Wanted ratings are 1-5 (low to high, respectively). If there is no number, I want the game eventually, but it's not one I'm actively searching for. Basic rule of thumb for me is: I will trade number for number. So if you have a game that is marked a 3 in my wants, I will most likely trade a 3 from my haves. Likewise, if there is a 4 in my want, I would also trade a 1 and a 3 to equal the 4. I don't value games monetarily; I value them based on how much I will/do play and may enjoy/enjoy them. So a 5 hour COD campaign is pretty much worthless to me since I don't play online with fat, whiny 14 year old kids whose parents don't care which M rated game they are playing next (there's a whole other rant I could go off on, but won't).
I will try to keep up with my number system the best I can. I may refuse a trade even if the numbers are even, but mostly, I'll go with that system. I may even trade uneven numbers if I think it's worth it for both of us, so try me. Your number values are different than mine and I can respect that. This is mostly a starting point for me to get my head around personal value.
I sell and trade to the 50 US States only, but will ship to Canada if you pay the extra shipping cost. I have a 100% rating on Ebay (laiuppa123).
If you are unsure if I will trade mine for yours, just ask; you never know unless you ask. Some games that are really cheap, I may have a soft spot for and never want to get rid of (like Carnage Heart for PSX), and others that may pull in a pretty penny these days (like Mario platforming games) I could care less about.
I'm a full-time father, personal trainer, and student of Shaolin Kempo Karate, so I'm a no B.S. kind of guy who won't mess around with you. I don't have the time to play games (the figurative kind) with people. I'm easy going and just like to have a good time playing games. If you are on the BTR list, please don't contact me or offer a trade because it will be declined.
Oh, and a word of advice to the few out there who think they own the world. When someone makes you an offer that comes with a nice note asking if you'd like to trade, don't just hit "decline" and move on. It's fine if you don't want to trade, but learn a life lesson from yours truly and at least acknowledge the offer with some kind words of your own. Even, 'Thanks for the offer, but I'm going to pass at this time' is an example that goes a long way. I swear, good parenting ended with my generation. Be an integral part of a civilized society and not a stuck up prick. Breaking news: The world doesn't revolve around you, Scooter. End rant.
