I thought Natalya would’ve gotten a better reaction than she did. Her not getting a ton wasn’t much surprise. Piper is good at getting heat during this match though.

Seth Rollins got a monster pop, as did Drew. Sadly, Ludwig Kaiser did not. He’s about to wrestle Johnny Gargano. This should be good.

Gargano got a disappointing live reaction. But the match is bringing people in. Kaiser got really good and Johnny is Johnny.

Yeah, great match. Hoping for an interaction between Gunther and Lesnar in the Rumble that will possibly lead to something at WrestleMania, unlike the last time they met.

It appears AEW is coming to OKC in December. Has anyone been to one of their shows live? I don’t particularly enjoy their storytelling, but the wrestling is usually very good. It’s a Dynamite/Rampage taping. I’m thinking I might go, depending on ticket prices.

I've only been to a Tony Khan-owned ROH PPV -- so it was its own event, not tied to any other AEW taping. But it was a real fun time. Still need to get out to an AEW show one of these days.

I honestly feel like their storytelling is finally starting to pick back up after their unbalanced 2022. I'm sure the show would be fun either way though. Live wrestling is always a good time. I miss old ROH shows a ton, though. Nothing like the smaller indie stuff.

I saw AEW Collision back in August. I had a good time, it was fun, but they tape far too much ROH. They did 3 matches before Collision which was fine, but then what felt like 1½ hours more after Collision went off the air, and I felt like I was maybe one of just a couple hundred people who bothered to stay and sit through it all, everyone else bailed when the AEW portion was done.

That's one thing I desperately want Khan to do -- put ROH back on the road with its own touring schedule. Book college gyms and town auditoriums, devote an "up-and-coming" roster with a few vets exclusively to that brand, bring back the smaller feel of it. There's already AEW to scratch that "big time" itch, there's no reason to keep ROH tied to it with the same touring schedule and such a similar presentation.

If he has the money to produce ROH as it currently is, I can't imagine it'd cost all that much more to run smaller shows separate from the main brand. Just budget ROH dependent on the smaller crowds the more intimate shows would draw and you've got an actual product that doesn't just feel like AEW-lite.

Go out of your way to watch the 2-out-of-3 falls match between Mistico (yah yah Sin Cara yah yah) and Rocky Romero from tonight’s episode of Rampage. So, so gosh darn good.

I'll see if I can download it. Might as well download SmackDown also since I skipped that too because I couldn't stop playing Mario.

So the Impact PPV ended with them saying that as of the turn of the year they’re re-branding back to TNA… after all the time they spent getting the ‘lol TNA’ stink off them… OK I guess. I don’t know if it’ll matter but whatevs.

Did they say if they're bringing back the old ring too? I feel like that's what helped TNA stand out.

No six sided ring from what I’ve read. Apparently it really sucks to bump in, so they’re sticking with four sides.

Anyone interested in doing a DropTheBelt league for WrestleMania season? It's from 01/01/2024 to 04/07/2024. There used to be a GTZ Wrestling League run by @Jersiah using the site but it ended after a few seasons and obv there are less folks into wrasslin on the TZ these days. I thought it was really cool.

Similar to fantasy football -- we'd draft a roster from WWE's roster, choose your team for any given week, and then be awarded points for Raw, Smackdown and PPVs (and I think NXT) depending on how those wrestlers do. Points are awarded by match results mainly, but then there are other points depending on what happens on a show/in a match. The site keeps track of the scores.

Understandable. I think yall are overestimating how committed one needs to be with this one though. After the draft, you’d really just update a drop down list once a week or just leave your weekly team as is. But I suppose it wouldn’t be worth it if the interest isn’t there. Ahh well.

WrestleQuest is currently on sale 50% off ($15) on Steam until November 3. I really would rather play this on PS5 or Switch, but that Steam price is tempting...

edit: Went ahead and bought it on Steam. Hopefully I don't wait years to play it like most of my Steam library.

The Vladimir Superfan documentary finally made it to Peacock/WWE Network. It’s about 37 minutes and it’s really good.

I was planning to watch that tonight, but I didn't know it was that short. I guess I'll pick something else to watch afterwards.

That documentary on Vlad was pretty good. Nice of them to do that. Everyone knows the WWF/WWE and ECW superfans, but did WCW ever have any? I recall a couple of the ECW superfans in the front row at several episodes of Nitro in Philly but that doesn't count because WCW had to come to them, they weren't following the company around the country. I know Vlad has been to several WCW shows too, but might've only been when they came to the Tri-State area?

I remember Cactus Jack guy, but I think he went to everything until suddenly he didn’t. I don’t know about WCW super fans when it was alive. That’s a great question.

My favorite ever and one of the very best in any era to ever do it. Still miffed about that terrible A&E Biography hit job they pulled.

Rollins vs Drew from Crown Jewel was fudging fantastic. Too bad there was a whole show to follow that just didn't live up.

Kairi Sane returning rules so hard, but the crowd couldn't be bothered. Reigns/Knight was disappointing. AGAIN, another interference fest.

A fun enough show and the presentation was awesome, but for some reason left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth (past the obvious reasons haha)
