It's almost that time of year again... the only real way to kick off the GTZ trading season: the GTZ Royal Rumble match!

Into FUN? Well, this game is easy and you don't even need to be a wrestling fan!

Just post in this thread and you'll be entered in the GTZ Royal Rumble. Once we reach 30 entries, I'll randomly generate a list of the usernames. THEN tune into the WWE Royal Rumble on Sunday, January 28th to see the big match! Your Royal Rumble entry will correspond with the number your name appears on the list. Whichever wrestler is in that spot is your official avatar for the Royal Rumble game. I will try to be online the night of the Rumble to give real-time results and announcements concerning entries and eliminations.

If your avatar ends up being the last man standing - YOU ARE ALSO THE LAST GTZer STANDING!

If we don't get 30 entries by this weekend, I'll simply add folks who participated in the past. Whatev.

Pretty damn entertaining show overall. I mean, we all knew Cody was gonna win, kinda wish they didn't give him the #30 spot though because that just made it even more obvious.

And that spot with Kevin Owens' head hitting the steps...that's gonna leave a mark.

Men's and Women's rumble winners were pretty predictable.. but the matches were good.. Really wanted Gunther to win.. Would have loved to see Imperium vs. Bloodline..
Sami turn was great, but Jimmy Uso leaving was a shock.. Wonder if they will drop titles and split up...
Lights out match and Woman's championship were meh..

I had no expectations for the lights out match. Haven't been keeping up with all of Raw and SmackDown (the past couple months I haven't been able to sit through a full episode of either show) so I didn't even know a lights out match was booked until this past RAW XXX on Monday.

Cody winning was the good, and right, decision. It was kind of weird to think that they wanted us to root for #30 over #1, but it is what it is. Gunther is amazing.

Rhea winning was also the right decision. We also knew it was happening.

This show was very predictable, but very good. Sami vs. Roman at Elimination Chamber will be epic, partly because Sami is from Montreal. Mostly because the storytelling has been masterful.

Rhodes winning was the right choice. Rhea winning makes sense. “Dark Asuka” fudging rules so hard and should win every title ever. Literally anything Uncle Howdy related was fudging AWWWWFUL. Bliss/Bianca was bad. The Bloodline story continues to be the absolute best thing WWE has produced in literal years, and tonight was the “Red Wedding” scene of that particular storyline.

Overall very satisfied with the show… the Wyatt stuff just needs to stop.
