I swear some of them are just too easily impressed. You can do a drop toehold and they'll chant about how awesome it is.

Sting’s retirement is the ultimate draw and everything else is secondary at best, as it should be. Sting has been awesome since coming to AEW and I hope he closes the show. I hope his match is everything he wants it to be.

Mixed feelings on the rest of the lineup but honestly it’s Sting’s last match so nothing else matters. I do hope (and think) they have some awesome stuff planned for the night. Hopefully the weekend as a whole, too.

Raw is going to be on Netflix. This is kind of a big deal.

I’m gonna just come out blunt bad move by wwe using Netflix to show raw. They were better off staying on USA or another station.

Are dedicated viewers gonna sign up and watch on Netflix with a subscription.

Well that's a weird development. I have Netflix right now but money's tight so who knows if I have it in a year, when Raw starts airing there.

Probably a good sign for AEW though. I don't know if things ever got serious between WBD and WWE about Raw but now that Netflix snagged it, WBD is free to move forward with AEW plans. I expect some sort of streaming agreement and a contract extension.

We won’t know what happens until it starts. I think it’s got potential to be a big deal since cable is slowly dying and Netflix isn’t seeing the same amount of churn. This is good news for AEW. Don’t know how serious those discussions got, but the fact they happened at all was concerning. I hope they go up on their TV right fees, regardless of how I feel personally about their product.

I'm not too thrilled about this. I subscribe to Netflix maybe one or two months out of the year. And then would buy a three month subscription two or three times a year when WWE Network was its own thing. Peacock is the only subscription service I consistently stay subscribed to, and even that may change with another price hike or two because the WWE content is all I watch on it.

Got the original news from PWInsider, which also has a paywall via Elite subscription (I’m an elite there) or ads.

This obviously isn’t great news for Vince, and hopefully this gets him the rest of the way out of the picture. Johnny Ace can get fudgeed for all I care and not in the nice way. Brock… can’t say I’m either surprised or not surprised. We’ll see where it goes.

The worst part is, this is all on Vince. He has nobody to blame but himself. He got the woman to agree to sign a NDA in exchange for $3 million, which you'd think is chump change to him, but then he only paid her $1 million of it. Had he lived up to his end of the deal none of us would know about any of this.

Yeah I don’t know why he didn’t just pay it, unless he thought he was above the law, so to speak. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what happened and Vince didn’t think she would come forward, at least for a long time.

What it also is, is a day away from the Royal Rumble. I’m digging a lot of what WWE is doing right now. They (finally) have a lot of ways they can go with the Rumble and who wins, and I’m loving the teases and possibilities.

It’s just too bad the Men’s Rumble is the literal only interesting match booked.

I’m intrigued by the women’s one too. That’s two matches. The 4 way is a foregone conclusion but I want to see how they get out of it. I just hope it’s good.

I predict they get out of it with Bloodline interference. Going out on a limb.
