Yup me too! I didn't order the charging station til recently. But I figure it's easier to just place both controllers there instead of plugging each one in. I already do that for 2 dualsense controllers.

17-Feb-2023(#126)Any word on how the new VR is for people with motion sickness? I really liked my PS4 VR but some games would make me so dizzy I would just about puke (I am looking at you Farpoint!).
Is the newer VR technology any better in that regard?

* 17-Feb-2023(#128)There's a few things that will help. Higher framerate is definitely one of them. The eye tracking also helps because it makes it much easier to get the IPD (distance between your pupils) correct. Unfortunately there are some people that just cannot handle VR regardless of what comfort techniques are used. My wife can't play anything with movement, even warp movement messes with her. She sticks to games in diorama style view like Moss, Ghost Giant, etc. Or non moving ones like GNOG, Statik, or I expect You to Die. Some games were also developed poorly and made way more people sick than usual, Tomb Raider, Time Machine VR, How We Soar.

19-Feb-2023(#130)What The Bat? is one of the PSVR2 games that can only be played in Roomscale mode.
It will require a play space of at least 6 feet 7 inches by 6 feet 7 inches / 2 meter by 2 meter.
Easy Allies and also Ian Higton in Eurogamer's PSVR2 review says the game straight up wouldn't let them play because there wasn't enough room in their studio.

You can lie about your play space and edit it to work from what I’ve seen/read.

Horizon for me because I know it will feature the new tech well.

20-Feb-2023(#135)@ErickRPG i totally forgot about Fantavision, I need to look into that now. So many games I’m interested in at launch. Light Brigade, Kayak VR, song in the smoke and now fantavision. Anyone interested in doing some gameshares?

* 23-Feb-2023(#146)Alright. I spent about an hour and a half with Horizon: Call of the Mountain, and it’s pretty impressive. They hit you with some great visuals (a tallneck in VR is just great) in the first segment. The climbing is a lot of fun, and using the bow is pretty intuitive. The scale of everything definitely feels bigger with the expanded field of view and crisper visuals. The biggest positive that I didn’t expect is just how much better the inside out cameras are than using the external camera like with the original PSVR. Also, the tracking with the new controllers (and the feel of them in general) is noticeably better. Although there’s still some clunkiness with all VR stuff, it feels much less burdensome than with my old PSVR. Also, the sound through the default headphones is pretty decent. You can hear the difference between climbing a rope and climbing a pipe. It really adds to the immersion. I haven’t tried my really good headphones yet, but I will soon. I’m really happy with everything so far.

23-Feb-2023(#148)I didn’t! I was distracted looking all around me lol. Something else to try.

23-Feb-2023(#149)Just seeing this thread. Are PSVR1 games supported when playing on the PS5? Haven't checked anything about it, so I'm just wondering.
Bleed_DukeBlue
23-Feb-2023(#150)Yes if you use a PSVR1 headset, a PS4 camera, and the PS5 adapter.

24-Feb-2023(#152)In Horizon I put my hands in the water just as the alligator thing went past. Scared the crap out of me. What was also cool was the fabric on the boat. Obviously I can just keep moving my hand in real life but the haptics made it feel like I was pushing against fabric. The visuals plus the haptics tricked my brain into thinking I was hitting fabric xD

Very cool indeed. Yeah the haptic feedback of PS5 is great. Companies just need to actually take time to implement it. With the haptics on the headset. Think about it being raining lightly, but you can feel the little "tip tip" trinkles on your forehead! So many cool things they could do!

There's a drumming one and an Viking one which I believe is basically drumming but Norse.

25-Feb-2023(#161)Light Brigade is amazing so far. Shooting a gun with these controllers is next level immersion and feels great.
