Looking over the list of all known PSVR2 titles announced so far and I still can't help but feel like they are missing something by not having a new PlayStation VR Worlds sequel. It was basically the PSVR equivalent to Wii Sports back in the day, as in it was the best way to show off your headset when friends and family were visiting, especially that underwater cage dive experience.

The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR got hit with a last minute delay and will now be releasing on March 16th.

The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners is getting a free upgrade to PSVR2 version, that includes if you had gotten the game free via PlayStation+.

I think one thing that would make me get a PSVR2 sooner than I otherwise would have, is if they put some PSVR2 games in the Game Catalog for PS+ Extra/Premium subscribers. It's disappointing that they currently neglect the original PSVR with the exception of a few games offered in the Ubisoft+ section.

Also, upcoming system update will let you filter your game library to easily find PSVR/PSVR2 titles among the non-VR games. This should have been available since day one because there are many VR games I've bought but forgotten about because it's a pain in the ass finding them unless they have "VR" in their title. And you'll be able to update the VR2 Sense controllers wirelessly.

That’s helpful. I just have a big spreadsheet with all of my games in it (physical and digital), and one of the columns is VR. I just put yes or no and then PSVR2 in the rows that apply. Then, I sort by that column to see what I have in VR.

For anyone that pre-ordered, looks like Sony is sending out emails to let you know you'll be getting billed by the 17th.

I pre-ordered. But on my paypal it said cancelled? But it could be some sort of pre-autorization thing? I never got an email from sony that my pre-order was CANCELLED or anything.

So I guess I'll just kinda hang back, if I don't get mine, I'll just have to wait til it's in stock for non pre-orders. I just got a 4K projector so I can play some series X for now.

So I got an E-mail from sony about a "Pre-auth" so I guess that charge then cancel a few months ago was just for verification! It sounds like I will indeed be getting my VR! I just got the base though so either I have to buy something digital or see if there will be disc versions of any of the games. That switchback VR will be my priority.

I cancelled mine today. I’ll possibly pick it up down the line but definitely wouldn’t be using much in the next few months.

Nice, what game are you guys playing first? Dark Pictures Switchback VR for me. And I'm THINKING of getting the PS5 version of No Man's Sky. I have been kind of waiting on that one until VR comes out.

I think I might ease into it with the Kayak game and then, once I’m used to the controls, Horizon: Call of the Mountain. Then probably Demeo and The Light Brigade.

Switchback looks good, but it’s not out until mid-March right?

And that otopuss god game looks kinda funny and cute. So it looks like there are definitely enough exciting titles to play on day one. And I'm thinking of buying the physical version of No Man's Sky PS5. I seriously can't wait to get into that. Even if I have to wait a couple weeks for the patches and updates, I can play the other games to keep me busy. The idea of going from outerspace onto a planet surface in VR is exciting. Something even Starfield can't do.

If I were getting one at launch, the first game I'd probably play is either Horizon or Resident Evil 8.
I've had RE8 for a while but like RE7 I refuse to play it until I can do it in VR. And if it's as good as RE7 in VR is, it'll have been worth the wait.

I'll probably replay RE8 sometime this year in VR. I have it, but I beat it already regularly, so it's further down on my list. That being said, though, RE7 in VR was probably my favorite VR experience ever, and I bet seeing Lady Dimitrescu in VR is going to be crazy.

By the way, Do we know if there are any white water rapid areas in that game? That would be amazing.

An ad for principal physics programmer notes that the game will be made in Unreal Engine 5, and will "break new ground in multiplayer, blending gameplay mechanics in new ways and deeply embedding storytelling elements into a unique universe." The ad also said "experience developing gameplay for VR would be useful," implying that Twisted Metal could be compatible with the PS VR2.

I see that the white water is a long term goal. So we are talking about maybe a year or even longer? Oh well it will be amazing if/when it ever makes it. But it's nice to know it's at least planned. A lot of physics and moving water graphics go into it. So it's going to take quite a bit of programming to get it right. Hopefully it's something they can accomplish!
