It's on my "Want List." I forgot when it was coming out. I'm working on other games right now.

Can say the same about the PS4's share function, lol.

Same to be honest... I was not expecting this month for some reason, I thought it came out in June. But I got the last copy, though it was open but it was still in mint so I just sucked it up and bought it. I may want to get another for collection purposes but I may get that one for Switch. I need to finish the Cowabunga collection first. I have about 4 games half way through, but I just finished Tornement fighters (Gen) and that one was way harder than the Snes version IMO, I also have to say Fall of the Foot Clan on GB has some pretty sick music.

25-Apr(#167)Just finished RE4 Remake. They made another 10/10.

7 and 8 are not my cup of tea due to them being designed around first person view. The remakes are great though. I kinda want to replay 5 and 6 now, but those are best played in coop

25-Apr(#170)7 in VR was one of my favorite game experiences ever.

25-Apr(#172)I’m on chapter 4 of RE4R now. Loving it. My all time fave RE game and good ol’ Capcom didn’t disappoint.
Anxiouz

25-Apr(#173)I'm a little past that. It's a fantastic game. My only real complaint is that there are certain times when you can no longer backtrack, but it's not obvious that that is going to be the case. That's caught me off guard a few times where I made a wrong turn, started a cutscene, and then missed out on fetching some stuff on the map I was trying to get to.
The voice work is also terrible. I thought Alloy in Horizon had no personality, but she's the life of the party compared to Leon.
TalonJedi87

25-Apr(#175)I think so. On the PS5 at least. I just increased sensitivity on the camera and aiming to about 2/3 the way and it’s fine for me now.
Anxiouz

25-Apr(#176)The aiming doesn't feel good, but in general shooting isn't problematic. I bumped the sensitivity a bit too and I'm fine with it.
TalonJedi87

25-Apr(#177)Yeah it’s still not as crisp as it was on the OG RE4 but I’m adapting after messing with the sensitivity in the settings.
kevolones

25-Apr(#178)I didnt have an issue with the aiming. I felt it was solid enough but not super easy to get every headshot (which would make things very easy IMO). I believe RE2 and 3 remakes had the same type of drowsy aiming and it would make me make sure every bullet counted.

3-May(#181)Ps5 slim is as real as a new Switch successor announcement for this year.
TalonJedi87

3-May(#182)Let’s have these corpos enjoy a steady streamline of sales now that consoles are back in stock in full for a little while without scalpers having the upper hand before they start dropping PS5 and XSX slims or pros on us. The Switch on the other hand…yeah. It’s about time for a damn Pro model already lest ye all continue to suffer the horrid framerates of bigger titles.
Kommie

3-May(#183)Horrid framerates? Now they charge $70 for 20 FPS games. You'll pay it and like it. What other options do you have?
TalonJedi87

* 3-May(#184)I’ve been waiting more and more now for price drops. I used to buy like every game I wanted to play at launch. Now I just bide my time. Most of these games are dropping relatively quickly in price a couple months after launch. Or just end up on Game Pass or PS+ at some point. And by that time they’re on like patch 1.05+ and most crappy issues are ironed out.

Don’t know about timing but Slim ps5 for sure at some point. 100% sure it’ll happen as the current system is basically a parts bin. Tons of opportunity for efficiency.
Pro seems to have solid rumors but I don’t see that any time soon. Games releasing at 30fps and/or buggy lately won’t be helped by hardware necessarily.
Orlandu

4-May(#187)Sony tends to release the refresh models 3 years after initial launch, so there's a decent shot of a slim/pro this year.

9-May(#189)Returnal is way less addictive, it's not like others where you replay constantly and unlock new things like Enter the Gungeon. Once you beat it once toy could quit. There is one secret/second ending after that which is really easy to do though.
Anxiouz

9-May(#190)Returnal confuses me quite a bit with how it all works/what carries over or not. I feel like I've read several articles and still don't get it. I need to give it another ago though, the 3d audio is fantastic and I enjoyed a couple hours of it. But it's been awhile.

If I remember correctly, only Ether, some special skills (the hook shot, etc), and weapon traits unlocked carry over after dying. I think the least clear is the weapon stuff, I dont remember if it was called proficiency or what but the more you use a specific gun, the better traits you unlock for it. Theyre still randomized, but you get better versions of weapons overall. (Like the handgun having burst fire mode)

There are certain things that do carry over when you die in Returnal. Here's a list of what persists between runs in this game:
-Permanent equipment is kept once you've unlocked it. Examples include the Atropian Blade, the Hermetic Transmitter, and the Icarian Grapnel
-Permanent items are kept once you've acquired them. Examples include the House Key and the Crimson Key
-Ether carries over between runs
-Artefacts and items you've scanned or unlocked will show up randomly in subsequent runs
-Research progress on enemies, weapon traits, items, and artefacts is persistent
-Story/objective progress is persistent
After defeating a boss once, you don't have to fight it again (although you can if you like)
Basically only permanent upgrade / suit unlocks, boss kills and ether are kept. Once you get to a certain point the “launch point / restart level” changes so you do not have to complete the whole game in a single run.

10-May(#196)Official remote play app? There is a work around, last I tried.
Create a new profile on your Ps5.
Link that profile to the remote play app on PC.
Start the app on PC manually with your mouse.
Turn on your wireless PS5 controller, don't plug it in.
Select your actual main PS profile now.
Go to settings, language, change language from one and swap it back to US English to get rid of the remote play message at the top middle of the screen.
You should now be able to use it wireless with all the dualsense features and the touchpad as well.
Last time I did this it worked.

10-May(#197)I got hooked into Ghostwire Tokyo and found chasing down collectibles oddly entertaining. But now it just feels relentless and egregious. The story is bad, the combat is really simple given all the skills and options, and it's an odd game overall. But I really enjoyed hunting down spirits and flying around rooftops. But I'm around level 30 now and have had my fill.
Bleed_DukeBlue

11-May(#200)Yeah. I liked Ghostwire enough to finish the campaign, but I didn’t even try for the platinum because of all the collectibles (and how hard it was to find many of them).

11-May(#201)Ghostwire was fun. I enjoyed the little side stuff too. Cool lore.
