Yeah, agreed on all of this. It's just a bummer that you've got a combination of PC performance issues + people who didn't play the original being shocked by the lack of admittedly common modern QOL features + microtransactions leading to the game being review bombed everywhere. I guess Capcom should have waited and added microtransactions post launch like others games do because that's better I guess? Maybe it's just the fanboy in me that wants to see DD get the love and attention that I think it deserves, but I don't have any issues with any of the microtransactions on the PS Store. It's not like they've compromised the core game design or locked anything behind a paywall. It's all optional crap you can just ignore. I don't get it, but again maybe I'm the wrong person to be commenting on it.
