Forgot about the GTZ Rumble until a few days before the event, so wanted to make sure I didn't make the same mistake here. There's still an entire card for WWE to flesh out, so the match order/point count will almost definitely change before the event itself, but there are 4 matches that will definitely be happening so I figured I'd put this thread together now.

This is also a reminder that should a triple threat be booked on either night, the competitors will be randomly assigned to me, @SwiftJAB & @BloodPuppetX due to me (accidentally) SCREWING THEM OUT of their Royal Rumble entries. A true grudge match! If there's no triple threat match, I'll figure something out.

Oughtta be fun, enjoy the wrasslin'!

An interesting swerve for night one.. During the Rock/Reigns vs. Rollins/Cody match, imagine if Priest interrupts the match and cashes in during a lull spot in the match.. He pins Rollins for the belt but the tag team match is still going on.. Then night 2 would be Priest vs. Drew vs. McIntyre.

My daughter is hosting the WrestleMania party this year. I’ve been nominated to be in charge of the games.

I’m totally stealing your template for the pickems. Hope that’s cool. I’ll fill one out here too.

Why do you think Cody rhodes never really faught back against the rock when he was getting beat down by The Rock? What do you think Cody's promos have been very lack luster against The Rock and Roman reigns? Just don't seem like the Cody Rhodes we know. I know he is a baby face the rick is a heal but bring some fire to those promo's and at least defend yourself lol

Getting this in before the first match starts!

--NIGHT TWO--

1. Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match (5 points)
Roman Reigns (c) vs Cody Rhodes
Cody, but I won't be surprised if Roman wins again

2. WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match (5 points)
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
Drew seems like the obvious choice here

3. WWE Women's Championship Match (5 points)
Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bayley
Bayley although the lack of build could mean she ends up losing

5. WWE United States Triple Threat Match (4 points)
Logan Paul (c) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton
Not gonna be surprised if KO or RKO win, but I think Logan Paul comes out somehow as the winner

5. Singles Match (3 points)
AJ Styles vs. LA Knight
LA Knight

6. Six-Man Philadelphia Street Fight (2 points)
The Pride (Bobby Lashley, Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs. The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam & Rezar)
If The Final Testament loses, they're done as any kind of threat so I think that's why they end up with the win

3. WWE Intercontinental Championship Match (4 points)
Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn
Gunther, no need to take the title off him yet.

4. Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Six-Pack Ladder Match (3 points)
The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) (c) vs. DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) vs. Awesome Truth (The Miz & R-Truth) vs. New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) vs. A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) vs. New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate)
DIY or The Judgment Day are the only ones who make sense. I think Judgment Day ends up winning though

5. Singles Match (3 points)
Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso
Jey unless they're setting this up to bring the Avengers together for night two main event

6. Six-Woman Tag Team Match (2 points)
Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill & Naomi vs. Damage CTRL (Asuka, Dakota Kai & Kairi Sane)
Bianca, Jade, & Naomi

7. Tag Team Match (2 points)
Rey Mysterio & Andrade vs. Santos Escobar & Dominik Mysterio
I'm gonna go with Dominik and Santos, maybe Andrade turns on Rey

BONUS QUESTIONS (1 point each)

1. Will an image of Vince McMahon appear at all on either night? Not on purpose

2. Will The Rock and Cody Rhodes shake hands at any point? No

5. Will John Cena or Steve Austin have an impromptu match on either night? No

Damn good opening match. I thought they'd let the baby face go over in the opener but I'm glad to be wrong.

Really good Night 1. I had a feeling Gunther might lose when Sami gave that little speech before the match, but by what he was saying I kind of expected a bloodbath. I don't know that I would have booked that outcome, but I enjoyed the journey getting there.

The finish of the main event though...how often has The People's Elbow been enough to keep an opponent down for a 3 count? I won't be surprised if Cena and/or Austin do a run-in tomorrow night.

Good start for Wrestlemania. Rhea and Becky was great. The LWO/Legado thing can end already. Carlito will turn on Rey soon enough for not picking him and then not picking him again. R-Truth is still a national treasure. Jey and Jimmy aren’t done and they wrestled like it. This was a good first match but we’ll see where it goes. Gunther and Sami fudging killed it. The 6 woman tag was paint by numbers and did exactly what it should’ve done: establish Jade Cargill. The main event was 5 stars. Sets up a great night 2. Let’s hope they deliver.

Wasn’t super impressed.

Rhea vs Becky: 3.5
6 Team Ladder: 3
Lucha Tag: 3
Six Woman: 2
Uso vs Uso: 3
IC title: 4.75
Main event: 3

Very fun to watch with a bunch of pals though.

You just didn't update the nights so I wasn't sure if you got all the predictions in. Just wanted to give you the heads up. Either way I'll still tally up your results.

I dunno boys, Mania isn’t hitting for me. Priest winning was a wet fart for the pals and I. Hopefully this main event sticks the landing.

Yeah, very bland and predictable at almost every match. Only real surprise so far was zayn beating Gunther. They better have a ton of surprises and appearances in Main event. I also think partially that philly is a very blah crowd too

They're kissing the Eagles' ass a little too much for my liking. I say that not just because I don't give a crap about sports, but because you know probably 90% of that crowd is not from Philadelphia, hell a large chunk aren't even from the US, so they probably don't care either.

As far as the in-ring part of the show itself, I've not been disappointed at all.

Great match, satisfied with the outcome. Hopefully he makes a better champion than his old man (Dusty was one of those guys that was always better at chasing the title imo). I wish Dustin was one of the people he called out to celebrate in the ring. ZThe only thing that could have made this victory even sweeter is if it happened in MSG, but there's always title run #2.

I liked the Cody/Reigns WM39 match more (Taker showing up was forced as hell, at least Cena has history with the Bloodline) but can't debate that ending being top notch. Never been a guy who deserves the WWE title more than Cody Rhodes. I fudging love that dude, from the first time I realized the Zelda Trifroce on his boots. Give that man his flowers.

Damn good Night 2. Drew and Seth was real good but probably too many finishing moves. Money in the Bank was done perfectly. Street Profits and Final Testament was decent but we all knew the outcome. Paul and KO and Randy was pretty good too but it fell into the same trap most triple threats do. LA Knight and AJ Styles was really good. Bayley and Iyo started slow and got real good at the end. Cody and Roman was overbooked AF but it was great drama and theater. We’ll see where it goes.

Looking over my predictions, I'm disappointed in myself for thinking anyone but Logan was winning that triple threat match. SummerSlam is in Cleveland this year, if he's going to drop the title, that's where it'll happen. Duh. He's going into it like he's the hometown hero, but he drops the title and that's what sends the crowd home happy because even they can't stand him.

It's possible that I missed it, but is this the first WrestleMania in a long time where they didn't announce the city that will be hosting next year's event?

You’re right. They didn’t announce next years location. I’m sure it’ll come out before too long so they have the time to move tickets.

Besides the winner of the Smackdown tag titles, it's funny that the only prediction I got wrong was the Usos match. I'm probably the only one who picked Jimmy. (I was thinking it would be like the Hardy Boys feud.)

Missed some of the bonus questions, of course, including Priest cashing in.

I wish stone cold would have come out but heard undertaker was his replacement due to SSSA or his wife being sick.

I thought there would be waaay more interference esp. early one with the way the rock kept about bloodline rules being anyone or anything goes.

Glad Cody won tho. I wonder who he will defend his title against now?

Also I hated Drew lost the title in that cash in.
