Me and this trader decided on a deal: My DS Lite, Animal Crossing: Wild World, and $140 dollars for her Xbox 360 (premium) and Call of Duty 2 (Xbox 360). I sent the $140 using Bidpay (which was her choice since she "has been scammed using Paypal"). After sending this, I realize that she has had/is having problems with other traders in which she has supposedly scammed them. I talk to her, and we both decide to cancel the trade (my reason being I don't feel safe and her reason being that she did not think it was fair (she found out a DS Lite costs $130 and now $200)). I then tell her to return my $140 back. She says OK, but then reveals that it will be about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks before I get the money back, since she is going on vacation before she will supposedly receive the money. I contacted my bank today (7/3/06) and they said they could do nothing as the money is not in my account anymore, verifying that she has possession of the money. I have contacted her and have given her instructions to return the money like she said. I have not received the money yet, and I will leave the BTR up until I receive it. If it becomes too long before I receive the money, I will contact the proper authorities.
If anyone wants to see my Bidpay receipt that shows I sent her the money, please contact me.
EDIT : It has been about a month and a half, and I still have not received my money. First she has to order a new credit card, a month and a half later she never received it. Then she says her brother is in critical condition, so she is at the hospital and cannot order a new card. Also, she refuses to send me a check, money order, cash, or anything else to return the money. It HAS to be BidPay, it cannot be any other way. It seems that I may never get my money back.
EDIT 2: It is now October 18, and I haven't heard one word from her in about a month, and there is no sign of getting my money back. I officially got ripped off.

He backs out of the trade, then get's nasty and demands I refund his money almost instantly.
He paid via www.bidpay.com, to recieve the funds it clearly stated on the website 2-5 bussiness days, or something of that nature.
I informed him of leaving for vacation, and gave a large time spand. I returned far earlier then expected, and emailed him promptly. Informing him of the situation with my credit card on bidpay, and the replacment.
He demands that he is going to call the police if he does not recieve it a day or so, when I clearly explained the problem. I infromed him, to call the police and have them call Huntington and verify the situation.
Overall, wouldn't reccommend the guy. Tried telling me that a DSlite was 199.00.

My last response to his "accusations" via the BTR. You backed out of the trade. Who cancelled it? You did.
If you didn't want the trade to end, why before I even realized a DS Lite was not 199.99, did you request you wanted your money back? That you did not want to do the trade anymore?
Really, it don't matter but for some reason you feel it does. You cancelled the trade, when I get the CC you'll get the cash back. You know this, I know this. Therefore it's already been established.
I know your going to have some sort of b/s immature childish response just like you do in all your emails. So here's your chance, get your last smartass word in. Then tell me how much you feel you've really accomplished.
