This trader impersonated a well respected trader (iwantsnesgames@aol.com) by using a iwantsnesgames@hotmail.com address. He sent links to iwantsnes's games and even used the guy's real name.

I sent him Lufia 2 complete even with the map, FF2 complete, Megaman X3, and Gundam 0079 for DC all priority mail, insured, and with delivery confirmation (and I have a confirmation of the delivery).

It amazes me the amount of deception that was used when I traded with this guy. He sounded so real and sincere, and he was a phony, lying the WHOLE time. I have receipts ($8.70 post office 8/31), and all his emails, conversations, everything. He did not respond to my emails until I threatened to call the Amherst,MA police department (413-256-4011), and even then he was still lying. I regret wasting so much time setting up this trade while I was on vacation and also when I was just starting up at college again. I'm sure this matter will be resolved, and if anyone has any questions, please feel free to email me.

I am still awaiting the safe return of all my items. I haven't filed with the FBI Internet Fraud Complaint Center yet and I haven't filed a filed a mail fraud report with the USPS either. I will give the guy one more chance to refund my postage and send my stuff back before I would do that (also before a civil court case would be filed).

I hope no one is deterred from trading me because I would go through all this trouble for a bad trade. I do take trading VERY seriously (after ebay and switchouse experiences), and I do not like to be scammed. That's just how it is. I don't want to see anyone get thrown in jail, but then again that shouldn't happen if the deal is withheld or the goods are safely and exactly returned.
