Some interesting stats about Fallout, and Bethesda games on xbox. Taken from here:
https://www.trueachievements.com/news/most-complet....
All based on global stats for people who played and unlocked the final main story achievement.
Only 10% of players completed Starfields main story.
Only 13% of players completed the Fallout 4 main story.
Only 17% of players completed Oblivion's main story.
Only 30% of players completed Skyrim's main story (360). (its gets worse with each iteration as you would expect, 9% for the special edition)
Only 35% of players completed the Fallout 3 main story.
Stats for New Vegas were not provided as it has multiple endings, but no definitive "you've finished the story" achievement like 4 does. And Morrowind didn't have them.
And I just pull the stats from PSN for the same "completed" the game trophies.
21% for Fallout 4.
27% for Fallout 3.
29% for Skyrim (ps3) (8% for special edition)
And Oblivion didn't have trophies. And Starfield is an exclusive.
Its always interesting to me that so many people buy games and just don't end up playing them. And not just to story completion. Like the shear amount of games people just don't unlock the the ones at the very start of the game. Like the ones that are basically "congratulations you just left the tutorial area". Which get you like 20 minutes to the game. So many games have such low % on those things. And pretty much every game has low % (under 50%) of story completions.
