1) Final Fantasy - IX and X are two of my favorite games of all time, but the earlier ones are very solid as well. 2) Warcraft - Warcraft II was my first big entry into online multiplayer games and Warcraft III didn't disappoint. Was obsessed with both for years and years. I've put my fair share of time into WoW too. 3) Mario RPG - Specifically the Paper Mario series, but I'm lumping in SMRPG and the Mario & Luigi series. 4) Super Mario - SMB3 and World were my childhood. SM64 is probably my favorite. Sunshine is criminally underappreciated. Can't wait for Odyssey. 5) Fallout - Loved 3 and New Vegas, and 4 was really solid too.
Honorable mentions: Ratchet & Clank, NHL, Deus Ex, Portal ---------------------
I was just thinking about this, so this should be fun to try and come up with.
1. Lost - No show has ever came close to grabbing me like this one did. I was all wrapped up in theories and discussion, and the show rarely disappointed. Some of my favorite characters from any show, and the mysteries of the island just sucked me in. It did go a little downhill with the last couple seasons, but I was pretty happy with the ending. 2. Stargate SG-1 - I struggle deciding between this and Firefly, but Stargate gets the nod for me because of it's length. 10 seasons and they were all superb up until the last 2 or 3. One of my favorite things about this show is how realistic it felt, despite being a show about traveling to other worlds and meeting different races. It also had great characters and some really interesting plots. 3. Firefly - If it was ranking your favorite one season of any show, Firefly would probably be #1 for me. Unfortunately there's only one season (and a movie), so it drops a little on my list, but it's still one of my favorite shows. Best characters in any show, hands down, along with great writing and a very unique feel. 4. The Office - I'd say there's a big drop off after my top 3, but I still absolutely love The Office. The absolute funniest show to me with some of the most likable and hilarious characters. 5. Game of Thrones - In one word: epic. One of the most badass and interesting shows ever. Amazing stories and characters with tons of drama, action, and even some humor. 6. Doctor Who - A classic. As a big sci-fi fan, this show pushes all my buttons. Such an imaginative and unique show. Unfortunately I sort of lost interest with the new doctor. 7. Psych - Hilarious and watching it always puts me in a good mood. It's one of those shows where the plot or story doesn't necessary matter because the character interaction is just so funny, and at times, heart-warming. 8. Battlestar Galactica - My only complaint with Battlestar Galactica is the pace. The show can just drag with many filler episodes, but the overall story and characters are great. If it would have been reduced by about 20% to remove some of the filler, it would have been a far greater show, in my opinion. 9. Prison Break - The first season is a masterpiece. Extremely gripping and exciting with great characters and smart writing. The following seasons couldn't live up to the first, and really went downhill after the third, or else it would be higher on my list. 10. The Shield - I wasn't sure where to put this because it's been so long since I watched it. I remember absolutely loving it, so I wanted to make sure it got on the list. I'm not generally a big fan of cop shows, but this one was different.
