Description

This is an excellent Strategy Guide for an awesome game.

I would NOT recommend using this guide during the very first time you play NOLF (No One Lives Forever). I believe this guide is more useful when you want to go back and play this game a second, third, or more times.

I mainly used it too find out were ALL the intelligence items were located, and how many I could find during each level. You get significant bonuses depending on how many of these items you find.
So as you might guess, this book does provide a complete listing of all intelligence items per level and were they are located.

This guide also provides in-depth character dossiers for everybody involved in the game. This includes Cate Archer, her bosses, and all the bad guys/gals, like Baroness Dumas.
Each mission is gone over in fine detail, with excellent coverage of Cate's objectives. There are also tips provided in areas that might become a little hazardous for Cate.

There is a complete listing of ALL gadgets and what different functions each one can have. This includes everything from the barrette lock-pick to the robotic poodle.

A comprehensive weapons stats section is provided. This will give you valuable information on all weapons, from the Petri .38 Airweight Revolver to the AK-47 Assault Rifle.

There is only one objection that I had with this guide and that is the fact that it DOES NOT include a walkthrough of the extra mission that is included in the GOTY Edition.
This level is entitled "Rest and Relaxation", and it was fun.
If you want more information on this level, than see my GOTY Edition review:
No One Lives Forever: GOTY Edition

I don't know if there was ever another guide made specifically for the GOTY Edition, or if this was the only one. If anyone else knows about a GOTY Edition Strategy Guide existing, then please make a post here and let me know.

So, if you want to survive NOLF in the best shape possible, than pick up this strategy guide, and watch as your mission stats improve.

Your Fellow Gamer,
Bobby
