Admittedly, I've not played very many non-NIntendo games. But, the ones I have played, the stories still weren't that good. It's like, they're trying to be like a movie, but the quality is nowhere near the same. The characters are stiff and really can't convey emotion that well. Most of the dialogue is weak. It all just comes off cheap and cheesy.
