My friend Ralph helped make Anachronox. If you go into the supermarket and see boxes of Ralphie-O's in the game, thats him.

Awesome-o. It was one of the games back in the day I told myself to play, and only got a cd and manual in my collection. Think I didn't play it, and it was on my to play list. The strategy guide seems to be worth a bit on it's own, so I'm unsure if I'll bundle or separate. It's got a dent on the front cover page so not mint, but still a useable piece and good for what it was initially meant for. Big fan of elder scrolls but no idea what redguard is about. Tho it sold for $400 used once, now new games are being sold for that, and it's usually at least about half price between new and used.

Balor of the Evil Eye had a cool title, but graphics seemed older and reading about it, not too interested. listed the games out, not as cheap as I would have thought. So not keeping any from those big boxes. Turns out he had Jagged Alliance 2 for pc for $20 too. That's the only game I didn't look up. That was one like balor about that price give or take, won't go pick that up but could've when picking them up. Oh well, to more deals.

There's a few deals but had one idling trying to get delivery and it got picked up, not one I mentioned that I'll get beforehand. Still looking for quantity and quality but that's usually a rarity lol

Was going to list out redguard for $200 and thought that might be high, til I saw a rip at the one at that price, no rip but no map and pamphlets in another and 12 watchers for $270. Went, sometimes it's easier to get some chunk of change from the bigger things, than it is to sell the lower things out and try to not do deals on those lol, time's a coming when I gotta go through my listings and do some legworks or just leave them up forever lol

Today, saw Indiana Jones and The Emperor's Tomb, Tron 2.0, both in small boxes for mac, new and sealed, battlefield 2142 but I think this was pc new and sealed. Asked for shipping, no go, mother was like we can go, but I want to spend the whole day in Niagara Falls. I was like...was asking $15 a piece. Some other ones were there, but less worthy.

So I guess I didn't get that deal.

But just got a deal for $30. $30 for shipping. But it's a lot, and some quality in there too. Not sure, he said some things, I asked, but bought. As usual with lots this big, not everything may be there. But the biggest thing I saw was a need for speed underground 2 in box. Worst case, I got a jewel case with 1 of the 2 cds. I'll sell it partially incomplete lol. Had some stickers on the front, those usually suck lol. Some other jewel case only games, lots of boxes, but nothing standout ish, even games that are more arcade or at home real casual gaming in boxes, but I think I did good. When he ships tomorrow, I took pictures of the ad, so I'll show you what I went by. Not showing pictures til it's enroute lol.

I nabbed Batman: Arkham Origins: Blackgate Nintendo 3DS for a little under $13. The seller took some convincing and the cart could use some cleaning, but I hope it's good. Xbox 360 and Wii U (for now anyway) both have a deluxe version, but having the handheld version will allow me to play it on work breaks.

Isn't Blackgate also an entirely different game, from its console counterparts?

I think you’re right Frank. I think I beat the 3ds version years ago. It’s a side scroller on rails (kind of) if I remember correctly.

Yep. It's a platform adventure, not quite a Metroidvania. It's... not very good compared to the main series. The PC port is kinda so so.

I gotta stop buying left, right and center lol. Just bought a ps3 with games. Paid $100 and think I want to keep both original controllers, charging cable, modnation racers and mortal kombat. If I make $100 on the rest of it, I'll still consider it a win. One presto fare again, but I got too much debt to be making mediocre deal and freezing assets haha. The ps3 is outfitted for gaming, can party it up, and got some games for it.

it's the cech K01 edition, not backwards compatible. Think with cables and non original controller, should fetch $60 for it, than the games, and some spoils go to me lol

I found one of those AliExpress megapiracy consoles at the Amazon returns store in town for $2. No cables or controllers, but it turned on with a spare power supply and I got a video output too. Now I need a spare pad for it.

I got lucky at my local thrift store today. Got a Nintendo 64 with hookups, 4 controllers, expansion pack, memory card, and a rumble pack for $10.
I've been wanting a 64 for a while now, so I'm pretty excited. I had a cart to test it and it works, so let me know if you have any games to sell.

Also got a PS2 lot for $10 as well, system doesn't power on, but it was still worth it because it had 2 memory cards, a PS1 and 2 controller, all official.

I have like 5 PS2 memory cards now, so I can trade a couple if anyone needs one.

Not powering on at all is fairly unusual. Wonder what it's like inside the system.

I just made my friend's night by winning an auction he had dropped out of. Got Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Riders for $33 altogether.
[imgt w=375 h=500]https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/rNYAAOSwA3tkBAqh/s-...[/imgt]

We were playing D&D virtually, and he had told us that he was going to pause the game later in the session to bid on this lot. I subtly probed to learn his max limit ($20.50), which the auction surpassed in the last few minutes. His birthday's coming up, and we always have a gift exchange--I had no idea what to get him before he mentioned this auction, so I figured I'd be a total chad and secretly add my own cash to the pot. I placed a sniper bid of $30.50 and won. I listened as he observed the final tally before spilling the beans that I won it.

Shadow (loose) and Sonic Riders (loose) are worth about $35 and $20 respectively, so this was a good deal. It was also a nice friend thing to do. cool smile

Got the games from the pictures I showed you before. A few of the jewel case games are sealed, but not many, and prob very common, but the winners in the box (was pretty big and heavy to carry) was obviously the need for speed underground 2 which is complete with manual and jewel, a new and sealed indy car series game, a new and sealed garfield game, a new and sealed world airliners game - all in small box. Did notice a name on a few cds, but they weren't in the ones of concern. Only disappointment and not really cuz my ps3 can play ps1, so I got an old school c&c game. The Red Alert 2 game came with the soviet disc, than 2 discs for retaliation for ps1 in it. Not too bad. Guess this one alleviates all the ok deals I recently made and froze up some money in lol

It's Fortnite? You bought outfit DLC codes for a free game, unless it has something special, the normal price for that bundle on PC is like... 12 bucks.

A week or 2 back I was going through trying to figure out which eShop games I wanted to purchase before the closure. Picross 3D Round 2 came to mind, but $30 is... ouch.

I ended up ordering that for about $10, forgetting about it, and it arrived in the mail today. I have a modded 2DS so I can play it, although I may mod the N3DS down the road so I can experience this in true 3D grin

There were a few surprising things that weren't quite visible in the listing, including a sealed Escape from Monkey Island, an OEM Descent 3, that Junior Field Trips collection (which appears to be incredibly rare), a really strange Star Wars Rebel Assault + Living Books Demo disc (?!) plus a couple of magazine CDs for publications I've never even heard of before.

(Friendly reminder, if you have these discs... hook a guy up)

Didn't want to drive, Bought something for $50. Said I'd offer $45 + shipping, than he didn't reply, I said I'll do $50 + shipping, and he replied lol. No idea, but shipping was a little pricey, I noticed need for speed collection, that should be about what I paid, vice city, prob the c&c collection, c&c generals, emperor battle for dune worth something too but can see some corner damage, didn't even inquire if all there and complete, but after doing some thinking, we already traded before. Was good before. Got the tracking info today, so it's enroute. $89.10 CAD total, Wanted to pay $80, but with shipping quote gambled an extra 9.10 so $89.10 for what I couldn't see. I thought the street racing syndicate game was rare, even had a watcher on my incomplete one. Now there's a new in box one for cheaper than mine. Still should be alright.

The person was right, that said don't post what you MIGHT get. The person about that lot for $50 is no longer replying. Maybe busy and when it's time, he'll reply. Unsure. Borrowed another $25 from the bank to get this game shipped: Alice Madness Returns new in dvd case.

But here's the kicker, is this guy using another picture and sending a UK release game. Or did he misprice something, like I do occasionally:

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/255872510516?epid=72398241...

and why the 2nd link sold for so much more?

got it from fb market, and should be enroute soon. Had lotsa feedback, so should be good.

I got an excellent deal from @egg , which arrived on Monday: A Japanese 2DS, a charger, a Mario stylus, Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter (European copy, which I didn't know existed), and four other DS puzzle games. Total price: $50. I've now successfully homebrewed the 2DS in an effort to preserve Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Super Smash Bros.'s online modes. I doubt I'll be able to buy any DLC fighters for the latter before the eShop closes--I'd need a Japanese copy of the game before Monday to do that, and I highly doubt I'll find that in time. But this was a sweet deal!

I got out to a couple of flea markets yesterday without expecting much (most markets in my area have games set at eBay prices or higher), but I was pleasantly surprised to actually find some deals. I got Lethal Weapon and Alfred the Chicken for $15 all together and have confirmed that they work, despite the damage. The funny thing about that sale is that the seller touted the nearby copies of Tetris as the real treasures, and I didn't feel the need to disabuse him of the notion. The Berenstain Bears game was $3 and is a gift for my son, since that book is a favorite of his right now. The vinyl Casper toys were $5 for all three, and they're going to be raffle prizes at my cult movie night.

got this in today. Not the best deal, but I think I'll be able to make around $50 from emperor battle for dune though not in ideal condition, will be able to make $30 from halo 1 and 2 prob together. Than I should make $15 from the command & conquer generals.

Vice city, the rest is what I call hard sells, so all in all, I'll make my money back, and have lots more. The need for speed collection, I gotta think about it, no case came with, so I'm unsure if all the games need keys or just a few, but I actually have the hot pursuit 2 key from a dif collection, but it's missing that game from it. Command & conquer, missing renegade, didn't see keys...but has renegade in seperate box. Might be something to part out, and not sure what to do with the box. Will have to give the c&c collection, and need for speed collection a think. I think there are more gamers for those games than collecters, and might be the way to go. Though I like to keep it in tact usually as I got it. Doesn't always happen.

Seems when I get the feeling of gambling, like Darrel from Storage Wars, I should stop myself. Ha ha

That's what I got for $60. Was going to buy it for $70 when he posted for $80, but than when he mentioned the fallout 2 guide on the side for $40 was already taken, I held off on the games. Today was a rainy day, been sitting too long. He just posted them up for $70. I've been spending too much money and maybe shouldn't have bartered, but I guess sometimes you can. The big winners I think are grandia II which for sure alone with box can net me back my money if a new and sealed same box is at $400 or best offer or is that just crazy. no idea. x-com collector's and daggerfall should also make around my money back. than i got a lot. guild universe and guild wars eye of the north are new. guess I didn't mind being out and about for a bit today, and seems it's the last deal I'll try to take before I'm like, this is a stellar deal. I hope it's mine. Sit there and lose my mind until they reply lol. Prob not that drastic, but whatever, some more to add, though I need more money lol. Not even browsing deals, I'm trying to have more fun, and entering contests so maybe I win something to make for a better than the normal setting of a placemat for the day...huh, no idea lol

Another deal, was going to go yesterday. Delayed until today. Kinda got fooled but still got a good deal. Here goes:

Yesterday, I saw Daikatana for pc in box (box a little worn), urban chaos in box - this is going into my collection -, and samurai showdown 2 in box. As I was talking, I checked again, and she had a Daikatana new in box for $15. The previous 3 games were $25. $40 total. I get there, it's raining bad, duck in, start smoking, and text her. Walk to where she said, minutes pass, nothing, I start smoking my joint and cig, doing a little singing and dancing skit but there's no one really there, and she opens the garage behind me lol. Oh well, than I get home. And it's all there, all good, BUT: The Daikatana that was new and sealed, has a shrinkwrap that's stuck together with tape. I'm like this has been slit open, and open it, the box is a little crushed from the inside, and the cd case has a sticker with the number 106 on it. Def not new lol. Won't even mention it to her, nice lady. I even stuck a second presto fare in, but I guess they safely got me there and back and not too wet from today's crazy rains at times.

I appreciate a great deal like the rest of y'all. I just wanted to pop-in and share a quick story about a PC I recently built for my nephew. tldr version: mid-tower system full build with a Ryzen 5600X and RTX 3070 for $650

My 11yo nephew hit me up in mid January saying he wanted to get into PC gaming and that he'd been saving his money from Christmas and his birthday plus the a few hundred he made from selling off some higher priced Pokemon cards. I knew I wanted to build him something that had a little bit of headroom to grow, so I wasn't willing to compromise too much, which meant that the higher priced items were going to have to be bought used. I started combing through posts on Offer Up and Facebook Market Place to see what was out there and what were some of the floors on prices for CPUs, GPUs, and motherboards. I also have access to family in some nearby cities, so I checked in some farther places as well.

After a couple of weeks of looking around, we decided that we're going with an AMD system. There was a clear upgrade path to the 5800X3D should he ever need a faster CPU to reduce bottlenecks on any GPU upgrades he might make and there were plenty of AM4 motherboards on the market to keep prices down. We lucked out and found an MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge WiFi for $100 and the guy was also selling a 16GB kit of Corsair Vengeance RGB for $50, talked him down to $125 for both. Solid deal for sure and we were on our way towards building a PC.

The next deal we had was insane. I was shopping for CPUs and GPUs when I came across a listing in another town for an RTX 3070 for $150. This was too good to be true pricing, but I had to inquire about it. The guy was well rated on Offer Up and he said the card was never used for mining. Even when I told him he could get a lot more for the card, he still was fine with selling it for the price he listed. I knew this was going to go fast and I was a good 1.5-2hrs away. I called my sister-in-law who lived in the area and asked her if she could do me a favor. Thankfully she could and acted fast to secure the card. It was in like new condition and included the original box. I was stoked! I kicked her an extra $30 as a thank you making the total cost $180.

The other two stand out deals was a Ryzen 5600X for $60. Some kid had recently bought a pre-built with this CPU but upgraded the processor, so he was willing to sell this part for cheap. And then a 650W 80 Gold fully modular power supply from Cooler Master that was brand new for $50. The rest of the parts we ordered off of Amazon.

I went on vacation in the Shenandoah Valley last week and managed to find a few games at a local flea market for $8 total. Unfortunately a woman who usually sets up with games wasn't there due to the cold, but these were still good finds for me and are going into the collection. I don't know that I'll ever play Rise of Legends, but it was only $2 so I picked it up for the Big Huge Games nostalgia. They were a local studio here in Baltimore that a bunch of my friends used to work for...until Curt Schilling acquired the studio and promptly wrecked it. I actually went to the liquidation sale for the studio with a friend who used to work there - it was a a very surreal experience.

Nice. Thanks for sharing. Hope your nephew enjoys it, especially with the effort you put in. Cool uncles are pretty much awesome. :)

Thanks. My brother isn't into video games, so that's been kind of my thing with my nephews. He's been enjoying it, but he's been playing on a large 4k TV. I convinced my brother to get him a 240hz monitor which should come next week.

I got one of my other nephews hooked on the Legend of Zelda franchise. And one of my PS5 preorders went to my sister in law to give to her kids for Christmas that year. The excitement these kids have brings me a lot of joy.

I definitely share the same feeling. When I get my relative's kids things that make them excited, it gives me joy. In fact, I just ordered them something from Amazon (a type of cookie they enjoy), and sent it directly to them. I know it'll make them excited, and that makes me smile :)

Saturday yard sales here in Baltimore got rained out, but Sunday was beautiful so I hit some that moved their date later by one day. First up was a community sale where I scored some goodies for the kids and this nice little Game Boy/DS lot for $25. One person mentioned maybe having some Intellivision buried in the basement, but they didn't seem keen on digging it out so I didn't press them on it.

After that I hit a community flea market on the other side of town and picked up the following items for $13. We recently rewatched the Keanu Reeves' Constantine (a better movie than most people give it credit for, IMHO), so I figured I'd pick up these books since they were only $1 apiece.

And for what it's worth, I'm planning on keeping the items in the second picture but everything in the first picture except for Looney Tunes, Pac-Man Collection, and My Frogger are available for trade. I was thinking of keeping Advance Wars: Dark Conflict since it's kind of odd to find a PAL game in the wild here, but I already have Days of Ruin so if there's someone out there keen to get all of the original Advance Wars games I don't mind parting with it.
