so that's 6 games from the direct I'm hyped for with box pics now. The only one I'm waiting for is DQ Monsters: The Dark Prince.

If the Mario RPG background was at least a different color it would be much better, but that white background is terrible.

I'm not crazy about it, but the Remake box art is inspired by the original Super Famicom box art.

picked up a few of the "cheaper" games to build back up my collection a bit. Cooking Mama 2, I'm really looking forward to trying this one. Lock's Quest, FFIII, True Swing Golf. Anyone remember true swing golf? You pull the stylus down and flick up to hit the ball. I remember playing that one.

yeah it's well made. The fact that's is more vanilla serious makes it unique! I definitely think having to carefully flick just right is a cool gimmick.

Interested to hear everybody's take on the Pikmin 4 demo. I'm happy to hear the general consensus is very positive, but I'm really not liking it so far. People keep praising the graphics. I think it looks oversaturated. The pausing of throwing Pikmin once you reach the needed amount sucks. I am missing the dismiss button too. Maybe that will be an added skill for later. The controls feel too loose but also too rigid at the same time (locking onto items).

I need to play it still. Probably should so I will know to pre-order it or not.

Oh come on. There's no way anybody thinks these graphics are more than ok for 2023. It's typical Nintendo though...super charming and the unique design language and style makes the graphic fidelity honestly not be as necessary. So it's totally fine but Pikmin 4 looks just like what I remember Pikmin 1 looking like when that came out.

Koopa Cape and Daisy Cruiser! That new track looks pretty good too, and the Super Circuit remakes are usually solid because they're such huge upgrades from the originals. I can't believe they still haven't done Wario Stadium (MK64) though! It's been the only MK64 track to not be remade for quite some time now. Hopefully it's planned for Wave 6.

The new track kinda has a Micro Machines vibe.

I like how it takes places inside of a specific room of a house, but you're shrunk down, kinda like that one track in the kids room with all the toys. Using a bathroom was another great idea!

I told my kids about the MK update and they were excited. I then told them they'd have to update Zelda which will remove the duping glitch. They said sell Mario Kart. LOL

On BotW - in order to find the memories how is that done? Like you just run the whole map looking for it? It's a bit of a pain I guess can just google the locations and try to find it but I was hoping there were like some internal clues somewhere or something.

Wait, were you just messing with them, or do you have to update all games with available updates all at once?

The same source who correctly revealed when the current Switch was going to launch is now saying the Switch successor will launch first quarter 2024.

Might & Magic Clash of Heroes. Release date is July 20th. I don't see anything about pre-ordering the game. Does this indicate that the release is only digital?
