Looking for $500 + shipping, which is exactly what I paid.

This 2DS XL is modded with a Merki Capture Card and comes with a TV-Kit, which is basically a modified Rapsberry Pi that can display the 2DS XL through HDMI on an extern display.

Here's the juicy details, written by Renaissance2K, who I originally bought it from:

This is probably going to be a long post; apologizing in advance. This bundle is for the following:

- Nintendo 2DS XL console, Hylian Shield design
- 2DS/3DS power adapter
- Generic black carrying case
- Generic screen protector (installed)
- Merki USB capture card (installed)
- Merki TV-Kit for USB capture hard
- Braided USB 2.0 cable
- Braided stereo audio cable

The console works, has a good battery, includes the original stylus, and has been softmodded with Luma for homebrew and backup purposes. There's a cheap, generic screen protector installed on both screens, and I'm including a cheap, slim unbranded carrying case.

The rear shell is really scraped up; the scratches are shallow but they're everywhere. I bought the console right after Nintendo started stocking rear replacement shells for the 2DS, but I never found one for the Hylian Shield variant. Maybe you'll get luckier.

Here are some pictures of the console, including one that focuses on the scrapes:

The Capture Card

For those of you unfamiliar with the Katsukitty/Keiti/Merki capture card, it's installed inside the 2DS/3DS shell and adds a USB micro port to the handheld. After installing drivers on your host PC, you connect it to the 2DS with a USB cable and audio (headphone) cable. With a program called 3DS Viewer, you get a configurable window that can save direct video or can be captured by OBS. I've barely touched all the options available in this program, but it supports integer scaling, and the video output can be very crisp, albeit with some lag.

The capture card was installed by Merki himself in Germany. Provided everything is set up properly on the host PC, I haven't any issues with connectivity or video quality using his card. This 2DS is a world traveler!

I don't actually have a ton of 3DS videos on my YouTube channel, but here are some examples so you can get a sense of the video quality. Spoiler alert: it's great.

I'll include the braided USB cable that Merkl offered with the kit, plus a braided audio cable that I used for my own videos.

Full disclosure: this is not the newest 3DS capture card on the market. There's a new version by Loopy that uses a USB-C connection (instead of USB micro), doesn't require an audio cable for long captures, and uses simpler capture software. The big advantage to the Keity kit is the software, which has a lot more options not available to the Loopy card and is compatible with a kit that turns it into a regular HDMI device.

The HDMI Kit

The Keity TV-Kit is a Raspberry Pi in a 3D printed shell running custom software. If you plug your modded 2DS into this instead of a PC, it will generate video over the Pi's native HDMI output.

The software has multiple display modes (just the top screen, both screens side by side, both screens stacked, tiny small screen, etc.) and an OSD, all of which are manipulated with buttons on the shell.

Here's a great video by My Life In Gaming that discusses the capture card and the TV Kit - warts and all - as well as some other options. It predates the launch of the Loopy card, though.
