I have a problem where black edges are followed by a blue outline when i move the camera. Here is a video since it doesn't show up in screenshots. Anyone know what causes this?

Your TV is very likely ghosting the image.

This happens in all games that you play?

I have a 32" 4k Dell monitor.

Its only noticeable when it's black on a dark background. Alan Wake and Control it's more prominent then when playing a game that's more evenly lit, like overwatch 2.

Anyway to fix this?

Looks kind of like chromatic aberration, but that's for optical lenses, so it can't be.

There were several complaints a couple years ago about image retention and that a firmware update should solve it. Also, RTNGs had this to say about the image at 60hz

"The Dell G3223Q has a good response time at 60Hz. It's slower than at higher refresh rates, meaning you see more motion blur, but it's still good. There's also some overshoot in dark transitions, which causes a bit of inverse ghosting. Once again, the 'Fast' setting performs the best, which means you can leave it on that setting and not worry about changing it if the frame rate of your game drops."

@SwiftJAB with the right advice above - check to make sure you're on the most recent firmware for the monitor. Beyond that, make sure all drivers are up to date. If you haven't calibrated color that may help - but I wouldn't go to that as a first solution...if anything, it may just make the 'ghosting' look a little better?

I have the same model, but never experienced that.
