Great recommendations everyone! I wanna make sure i have a nice collection for genesis built up

Shining Force 1 & 2 for sure. Warsong/Langrisser is also fun. Not console specific, but Sunset Riders and Uncharted Waters are also enjoyable.

Cib prefered for my childhood games (so like 7 of them) the rest ill be fine with cart only!

Comix Zone rules so hard. Frustratingly hard without save states but still fun and the aesthetic is great. Pure 90s gritty comic goodness. Really short if you can get past the difficulty. Still a recommend imo.

A lot of good games were already mentioned but the Desert Strike series and SF2 Champion Edition are nice to have too. Mortal Kombat if you want a 16-bit version with blood. Shining Force 2 is excellent; got pretty far in it years ago but never finished it. I'll get back to it at some point.

I always loved Crusader of Centy, Shining Force 1 & 2, Phelios, Whip Rush, TMNT Hyperstone, Ghostbusters, Castlevania Bloodlines, and many many more.

Got my hands on a copy of beyond oasis. Eventually ill get the others
