Pretty sure Lunar is the most active trader. Doesn't matter with the scoring because you can only find posts from the past few years.

I don't think brussel sprouts are bad at all.

I haven't tried the following, but I once read about deep fried brussel sprouts, and the writer was raving about it.

On a different note, but still brussel sprouts related, a friend of mine said that he went to a restaurant and one of the best things he tasted during that meal was a brussel sprouts dish. And this guy likes food. He didn't rave about steak, or anything else. He raved about the brussel sprouts dish.

Maybe people are just not preparing them right?

Sprouts are amazing if prepared properly. We always thought it was a rich kid veggie growing up. Never had them until I was 32ish.

Fair enough. I only posted this topic because I hit my 22 year mark and was only wondering about site stats.

Surely you can reveal who has had the longest avatar, at least?

I meant this topic to be a bragging rights by the users, for their feats, not a Brussel sprout eating competition.

Sounds great.

How do you prepare it?

The few times I've had brussel sprouts, they were the bagged frozen type. Can be tricky to prepare in a non soggy way.

Just pick random people and give a Brussel sprout opinion, memory or recipe.

When Bill archives old posts, they lose the scoring. So we only have scores for the last 1.5-2 years worth of posts.

Cut fresh Brussel sprouts in half and put in a gallon zip lock bag. Dump in olive oil with seasonings such as onion and garlic powder along with bread crumbs. Shake up the bag and throw them in the oven for 30 min or so and they will be edible

Mine are unfair since I've run some Secret Santas and such, but here are mine:

Subtime transfers: Total: 1030 transfers; 77,357 days
Subtime receipts: Total: 1057 transfers; 76,605 days

Willyum's are much more legit! He's always been a giver. yes

I think it's fair to say that willyum has helped the site the most through subtime.
Also, that John has helped the most through the Amazon link.

Neither has asked for anything in return.

Thank you both!

If you click on the Scores page, you can get some of the stats you want (though, as Scott mentioned only for the last year or so).

Congrats! I know a lot of people post about this and I don't always come up with something to say, but it's amazing and humbling to have so many people stick around for so long. We made something good here, together.

The max length of an avatar is 80 pixels, many people are at 80 pixels. poker face

I assume you mean the oldest avatar?

Akira but hasn't signed on for 7.5 years.
Part of the trouble with stats like this is they will often expose how much the site has declined... frown

If I have time, I'll try to come up with something that shows the top 10 oldest avatars for currently active subscribers. But, that will take some coding to figure that out.

The color change of the Link costume is really neat.

Phoenix Wright slapping the table is a fun one. I remember seeing that on the site years ago.

Brussell sprouts have actually been cross bred and modified in recent years to be less bitter and better tasting. The brussell sprouts of 5+ years ago are not the same brussells you are getting today

So, (not-so) fun fact... I also use Amazon Smile for all of my orders. I had raised over $425 for a charity on there that I picked years ago. Amazon is shutting Smile down and sent me a notification that the charity that I had chosen never completed their repeated requests for the payment information, so they couldn't send the money to them. They had me pick another charity (which I did).

Imagine being a registered charity on Amazon -- someone raises over $400 for you -- and you never complete the paperwork to get paid. rolls eyes (And I KNOW that there were other accounts who had also chosen that charity -- as their actual total was like $650.) Oh well.

Yeah, I give them credit for that. I got an email that basically said "Hey! You've chosen a charity that we haven't been able to pay and we're getting rid of Smile soon -- so pick another before the 15th or we'll just give it to a charity that we pick." yes

It's been a while, but iirc, you just clicked on their avatar and a page would load that showed all of them in reverse chronological order.
