This is a pretty big rumor going around. Anyone else hear that Starfield and other Xbox exclusives will be released on PlayStation and other platforms?
As a PlayStation guy, I am pumped, I hope I can play Elder Scrolls 6 when it comes out (if ever)
It'll happen, I just don't know if it'll be straight-up multi-platform or if it will be launching Game Pass on other platforms. It's most likely that they would do a PS5 version of just the streaming variety of GP.
But then again, if they can get $60 for Starfield from PS5 owners they could keep GP as being only on Xbox. I really don't know their strategy now that the XSX hardware refresh is losing the disc drive but it sure seems to be going all in on a subscription model. So anything on PS5 is just a bonus.
