Everyone I know loves their Maui Jim sunglasses. They have a great warranty as well.

@Shadowrunner I ended up finding a store near me that's been around since at least the 70's caters to these types of brands. They have the most Maui Jim styles of any shop near me. Interesting thing is... the first pair of sunglasses the woman pulled off the shelf, I was actually looking at online. I compared 2 different styles, the Kahuna and the Castle.

I ended up going with these in Hawaii Lava color.

Well... this is going to suuuuuuuck.

FedEx dropped off a package at my door Friday afternoon that was my nephew's Christmas presents... that got stolen. Still working on getting that taken care of through Walmart, FedEx, and the police department as I had filed a report. I was waiting on the lease office to look into their building camera footage to see if there was anything to help find out who stole the package. I haven't heard back yet from the lease office, but a detective did contact me about the report which I have to get back with them tomorrow as I was at work when they called and cell phone signal is spotty where I work.

Got notification today that my sunglasses are being shipped via FedEx for Wednesday delivery and what do you know, I don't have an option to have the package left at a FedEx facility for me to pick up.... HOPEFULLY, they leave the package at the lease office this time. I even specified it on the delivery directions. I like the hypocrisy of FedEx telling me I can manage my delivery, yet can't do anything more... *sarcasm*

Guess UPS and Amazon are the only ones I can have routed to a pickup location...

Any update on this? I read where we’re at so far and I hope it got figured out.

FedEx is garbage. Always has been. Never had a good FedEx experience. Amazon and UPS have been more or less fine, though, so I got that going for me. Also had my first Walmart+ delivery for a Christmas gift yesterday and it went well.

The sunglasses were delivered to the apartment office. Woohoo!! I'm picking them up in the morning before work.

As for the stolen Christmas package, Walmart sent me a refund. I'm going to ask the apartment office manager in the morning when I grab my packages if they have an update for me. I've tried to call the detective several times this week and got nothing. Will try to call again tomorrow.

I own 2 pairs of maui jim when i used to be a brand whore. They aren't any better than any other pair of polarized sunglasses. That said, 7th grade me thought Maui Jim glasses and Fossil watches were the fudging coolest thing ever.
