I've had the Switch Pro controller since 2017. I've used it a ton and have had 0 issues with it. Feels like a very solid controller to me *shrug*

I own 4 Pro's and have had no issues with any. It's been a lifetime since I've trusted 3rd party controllers for any system.

I have this one. Mind you I use it as a PC gamepad and have yet to actually connect it to my Switch, but it's listed as a Switch controller. Unfortunately it's not wireless.

It comes in different designs, Mario, Yoshi, Peach, Pikachu/Eevee.

I've tried the Pro controller before but the dpad felt super clunky and stiff. I've also had a Tom Nook wireless PowerA which was terrible. So I like the Hori the most out of the three, interestingly enough. It is kind of cheap in a way, the cord is heavier than the controller itself, but the buttons and such feel responsive, that's the most important thing imo.

Both od my younger boys have this and they love it. I've used it, and it feels good, although the Nintendo brand is definitely better.

Anything but the Junk-Cons. I mean Joy-Cons. They suck.

The official Pro controller is the only controller I would recommend. We've tried all kinds of 3rd party stuff and my wife and son kill those things after average/moderate use...a few months. Only our Pro is still alive and kicking throughout all of that.

The Pro controller is very solid. Comfortable. Not too clunky. I haven't really used the D-pad on it much, so I can't vouch for that part of it. But otherwise, great controller.

I use a NS Magic adapter plus a Wii U Pro controller.
