@MrBean it looks like mobile is still working for me. You have to long press them image.

Open album/long press the image and you should see copy post link.

If you click into the photo you won’t have the option.

Edit: the above is from the Imgur phone app.

On android app, can only get copy link unfortunately.

I noticed this about imgur too. So annoying. The only solution I was able to come up with is to list the thing on mercari or ebay and upload pictures that way. It ends up being a good thing, bc it forces me to stop being lazy and list the item on a proper selling site instead of first waiting to see if anyone on gtz wants it.

Well another option is twitter but my twitter is so edgy and punk rock I can't have anybody from here seeing it.

Imgur went advertising heavy and got greedy. I've moved all image hosting to https://postimages.org/

Is it me or is imgur completely fudgeed? My old images are inaccessible and anytime I upload and link, I get broken links.

I can still see the embedded images in my last sale post, but clicking on the "full" link now takes me to an imgur page with the image embedded on it. Hrm.

@Foxhack I think that's imgur doing that. They'd prefer people get a webpage (e.g. with their menu and ads or whatever) vs just the image itself. I do link the image, but they convert it to the page if clicked. When the image is in-lined it still works (essential). They must have a way to tell the difference.

I use https://imgbb.com/upload

Then i copy the BBCode Full Linked code and edit out the link

They used to (and maybe still do) sometimes insert text ads into that code which is why I edited it out before
