Years ago I won a working fat PS2 for around $90. It came with a few games, but among those games happened to be Tales of Destiny 2. 😲 I made out like a bandit. I remember being so excited I didn't sit down for like an hour. Lol.
32.66 for a pearl white PSP-3000 w the disc door permanently stuck open. The listing price was higher than that (but still very low, for a PSP) but the seller offered 30 after I watched it. I asked seller some stuff (like, how could it be stuck open? And that it should be easy to fix) and seller admitted he doesn't know much about games. Good enough for me. Bought it, popped a thing back in place and door closes fine.
The PSP admittedly has some battle scars, in that the disc door and battery cover are missing one hinge each, but they're nonetheless able to stay closed, so I decided no fixing was necessary. Threw on CFW and ended up gifting it to my brother seeing as he said he missed his old japanese 3k.
I bought a "new, open box" LG soundbar with a retail price of about $100 for about $30. The auction wasn't getting any interest because the ad said it didn't have the remote. After I took it out of the box, I heard something still rattling around in the bottom of the box. When I upended the box, the remote fell out.
I really love this topic, @atlantafalcon, and look forward to reading everyone's big eBay scores. Just last week, I pulled the trigger on this unicorn here because, if I didn't, it'd never come back up again...and, no, I didn't pay the outrageous opening bid; he ended up accepting my much more reasonable offer.
I recently got a pair of KEF Q750 for $400 on Ebay - one has some minor damage to the wood (very minor, and it's along the corner of my room so you don't see it), but no impact on the sound. Don't know if I'll beat that find ever.
I won multiple factory sealed copies of Shining Force CD for the Sega CD at $15US a pop. Twenty plus years ago it happened but it was an amazing find at the time for a game that was roughly $100 used.
