Wanted to give a shout out to @ChronoLe , my game gear would turn on with an ac adapter but couldn't use batteries, and the screen had vertical lines in it, so I figured a screen replacement was due. I knew I wanted it recapped and ask ChronoLe if he would since I knew he did Sega CD recap, though he stated he had never done a GG I still wanted him to give it a shot if he was willing. The recapped went well, and it even fixed my screen, but he took it a step farther and found out that the battery connections (the positive and negative plates touching the batteries) were bad and ordered some and replaced them.
GG plays like new now, and the price for the repairs couldn't be beat.
Thanks ChronoLe
