Im back from the dead and offering disc repair services again.

I have an ELM Eco Pro 2 Professional disc repair machine and a VMI Quicksand. I'm offering my services to repair your discs, movies, cds, blurays, etc. I can repair DVDs, Music CDs, PC discs, Sega CD, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2 & Wii. I can do Gamecube discs on the machine, however I will only accept Gamecube games if they are not working at all. For some reason, Gamecube games are hit or miss. Sometimes I can get them to work and other times the machine makes working games stop working, no matter how good I make the disc look, not sure why but I suspect its bcse the data is more tightly packed on GC games. I can also buff out blurays, but if the scratches are too deep, no guarantee it will fix them 100%.

I'm offering $2.50 per disc with shipping being separate. I would recommend to ship as many discs at once to save on shipping. I would also be willing to trade the repair services for games if you'd prefer that as well. Although cash is preferred.

Just a quick review on my machines, I use the VMI Quicksand to sand out the discs and I then use the Eco Pro 2 to buff them out. I try to buff out as much scratches as I can, and then I use some special buffing pads to give them that extra mirror shine removing any swirl marks left by the machine. Disc quality usually come out to 9 out of 10 in condition. 10 being practically new. I've only failed on a few discs mainly because they were so deeply scratched and the data was already damaged. This machine works best with discs with small to medium sized scratches and scuff marks.

If interested on repairing some of your discs, let me know and we can work something out.

Heres a sample of 2 discs I fixed up. Although not perfect discs, they are definitely better and now work with no issues.

Due to inflation and prices of cleaning supplies going up since the last time I did repairs, I had to increase my price a bit per disc. Just 50 cents more though, i think thats still fair considering video games stores now charge $4 to $5 per disc repair.

I only have 2 games with scratches now but definitely will use you in the future. I'd prefer to do it locally though since the shipping requires me to wait til I have a bundle. What kind of video game stores do this? Is it mom and pop style stores? I've done business with you in the past and will in the future. And I hate to ask but I'd really like to know where I can get like 1 disc done locally.

Typically independent game stores will offer it as a service. From what I know of it this is a very competitive price but then you do have to factor in shipping. One thing you will want to do is make sure anywhere you go has a nice machine and not a cheap piece of crap.

Finding disc resurfacing services is definitely more challenging now than it used to be. $2 is a great price and the same as what I used to pay in the 2000s at my local video rental store.

The challenge is the shipping, i only recommend only to use my service when u gotta repair at least 4 or more discs. I have to find a middle ground where i can make some money while also offering a decent price. And shipping alone can kill all profits, especially if I only do 1 or 2 games.

Oh, and yeah, u can look for local games stores that might offer disc repairs. Sometimes even local libraries may have disc repair machines.

Can you tell from pictures if a disc is repairable? I have a nasty looking NCAA 14 (XB360) with a deep circular scratch around the entire disc. It would be awesome to get it working but I have a bad feeling it might be a lost cause.

I have I think 3 discs, I'll see if I can find a fourth. I was using a guy on ebay, but he/they lost my last items in the mail. Nothing too expensive thankfully, COD war collection. We went back and forth but he did eventually offer a complete refund even on the price of the games. But I refused because it was the post office's fault not his. But he was a little unclear about the when, how, and what details that got me mad. So I'm never doing that on ebay again.

Are you able to do Nintendo GameCube discs? I just got turok in that I'd like to get buffed. And even though I don't expect it I might as well ask, what about the plastic surface of PSP disc/cases? lol. Both of these games had no pictures of the underside and listed as "like new" last time I trust that crap.

Sorry for late late reply, i was busy with alot of crap, forgot to check messages here.

About the Gamecube discs, yes, I can buff them out. However, Gamecube discs are very finicky with disc repair machines, I can only do like 30 seconds or 1 minute max buffing on the machine or else i risk making the disc unreadable. I dont know why, but ive made GC discs look brand new but they then no longer work. I would only send GC discs if they are not working at all, and hopefully I can get them working again.

On PSP games, ive never tried it. Im not sure they are repairable as they wont fit on the disc repair machine i believe.

The gc game is Turok so not high value I will risk it. You can do not full run that’s ok. Just minor swirleys.
