Wait, aren't we getting a remaster/remake?

Oh, scrolled down a bit...

This is not a numbered release, and thus is not a part of the Limited Run Games Collection. We are distributing this title on behalf of Electronic Arts. Missing out on this release will not compromise a complete Limited Run set.

So is this the Remake? CEs simply being distributed by LRG? Seems odd...

This is definitely for the remake. I guess EA was just looking for a way to get people to pay $200 for a helmet and LRG came to mind.

$320 post tax and shipping, jfc. I'm in debate. At $200, definitely game... But over $300? This crap is getting old but... People clearly pay it.

Game comes out Jan 23rd,but pre-orders for CE open until Jan 27th? Sounds like a wait, after release, to get it.

So this showed up. Being LRG, thought it'd take longer.

The helmet is surprsingly light (ie cheap), and the color feels off from the game. Yet, now looking at the product listing, it's definitely that shade of brown.

Steelbook is pretty basic, and could have been better. It definitely just feels cheap compared to other steelbooks.

The marker is my favorite piece.

All in all, it's pretty decent. Worth cost of admission? Probably not. Still, I love this game and the helmet looks pretty cool in a collection. Hopefully at some point we finally move as I'd love to get my Halo, Doom, Metroid, Elden Ring, and Dead Space helmets lined up next to one another.
