Credit goes to SD. Very tempted to get this since I have a $5 BB certificate.

I'm going to be using this on a 2013 Macbook Pro for now until I get a new laptop. If anyone could shed some light on how well it will work on my computer I'd definitely appreciate that. My OS is macOS Catalina 10.15.7.

I also had a $5 as well. I bought my buddy the same mouse in April 2021 and he still uses it. Might as well! grin

Thanks for sharing!

I would definitely go with the G04.

I pulled the trigger on it. Figure I can use it on my next computer even if it doesn’t work on mine which hopefully it should. Got it for just under $33 OTD. That seems like a pretty good deal.

I've been doing some research on gaming mice and ended up settling on the G305. Not as advanced as the G604, but the it was a little cheaper and it's lighter weight, making it more ideal for fast movements in FPS games.

That looks like a good mouse too and what I’d prefer using if I was planning on playing a lot of FPS. The one disadvantage I see with the G305 is that it doesn’t have Bluetooth connectivity which means a USB port will be occupied. G604 has Bluetooth.

Got the mouse today. Very easily connected via Bluetooth to my old Macbook. I've always used pretty cheap mice so this is a major upgrade for me. It's very comfortable and ergonomic to use for everyday use. The scroll wheel has a very smooth action. The plastics also have a good feel. The programmable buttons are well-placed and two are already programmed by default for going back and forward for web browsing which is convenient.

I agree with the reviews stating that this is likely a good mouse for non-FPS games. It's probably fine for occasional, casual FPS gaming but I wouldn't use it for anything more than that for FPS because of the weight.

Overall my first impression is positive and I'm happy with what I got for the price.
