I had an OG xbox for the longest time but it recently crapped out on me and I’m trying to aggregate the best options to recreate that experience. As far as I remember the OG was able to run everything up to PS1 and Late 90’s Arcade.

I can’t imagine the Wii can handle PS2, of which the only thing I’d want to play that wasn’t also released on GC which I know the wii can handle is Tekken Tag and I can live without it.

Curious about PS1 and DS primarily cause I think it can handle almost all other retro consoles. I don’t care much about dreamcast/saturn/jaguar and my switch has enough 64 to fill that void for me.

Master System
2600
Arcade
Nes
Genesis
Snes
Gb/gbc/gba
Game gear
Ps1
Gamecube
Wii
DS

Also kind of curious about the layout once its set up. Are any of the options clean and organized with pictures on the mini classics and switch streams of the old consoles or are they kind of generic and in list form.

Any insight or thoughts even beyond what I’ve detailed will be appreciated.

You want a modded Wii U so you can enjoy even more Virtual Console games.

Agree with Boss, I've got my Nintendo Wii U modded, it was very simple.

Xbox Series S works as a emulator machine ($150-250 for one) won't play Wii or PS2 well or go for a decent PC and play PS3 well as well as current games.

Series S is playing Gamecube and Wii pretty nicely now with an updated Dolphin standalone emulator yes
