Welp, didn't even know this came out. Loved the movies and debating picking this up... There's an overpriced CE too, that's still in stock. My hope is the price will drop and grab it later.

Seems like a typical Ubisoft game though. Have only flipped through a couple reviews.

Curios if anyone here has played and your thoughts.

Ubisoft+ is $15 a month?! If video games go the way of streaming TV services and we end up with 10+ different monthly gaming bills, I quit gaming.

It's reskinned Far Cry Primal with good graphics. And a popular IP skin. Bound to be $30 in a couple months.

I've been watching a Twitch streamer play it. Seems pretty good if you liked the movies. Great graphics.

ACG (see signature) reviewed it and said that while it's an Ubi game and deserves some of the Far Cry Primal comparisons, it does stand on its own a bit and was overall pretty good. He liked it but noted some issues. I think his final verdict was wait for a sale unless you're a big fan of the IP, then it could be worth jumping on sooner, especially if they clean up some bugs.

Companies release like 1 to 3 AAA games a year if less then that. You can easily sub to one and cancel. Honestly I wouldn't mind the model as much considering my gaming habits. I actually don't mind the steaming tv services as I can cancel and view a wide array of stuff for $10-30 a month.

I'm super interested in this , as I haven't played a far cry since 5 and I love exploring alien worlds in video games.

Unfortunately a few days before it released my PC started popping so i'm currently waiting for a new PSU before I give Avatar a shot.
