Recently got a c64 mini to play around with. Yes I know the pack-in joystick is poo, but I have a USB saturn pad that works.

The problem is the button mapping is not ideal, and there doesn't seem to be a way to remap buttons in the system itself.

I have already googled and come across a ton of sites pointing to thec64minizone website, but it appears to be gone and replaced by a crapty malware/scam site.

My understanding is that you need to create CJM files with the same name as the game file but with a cjm extension. These cjm files are basically text files with the mapping set out.

I did find a program that supposedly does this, but the end file was ineffective when I tried to use it Not sure if it was only for mapping the actual c64 mini controller, or if it was supposed to be for other USB pads as well. I then edited it and was able to get it to completely make the controller not work, so st least the file is being recognized and does something LOL

Does anyone here have any experience with the c64 mini and have any advice on how to properly make a cjm file that works with 3rd party controllers?

I have the latest firmware installed and the newly released "A Pig's Quest" game on a USB thumb drive. The game works but I would rather play it with different button options.
