30-Jul-2023(#6)Started up Final Fantasy 16. Played the beginning again since it's not that long. Only thing that's a little annoying is there are two sort of dodge buttons. Only one will let you dodge/counter, at least so far.

I saw it on the top before I scrolled down to my old WWF as I always do. The only thing it made me think about is my commitment to buy a near mint Twisted Metal 2, black, and TM

1-Aug-2023(#9)Well even with the LeBron James and Spiderman 2 Covers out, I went ahead and ordered the Grey Camo covers I have been wanting. The Spiderman 2 Covers look cool but ultimately I prefer the Camo ones for the long haul. Not sure if I will order the Spiderman 2 controller (if it comes back) as I have a camo one I have yet to open from last years Christmas sale on them. When I do play on PS5 seems I always need two to make it through a play session. Red, Blue & White rockin right now and soon the camo one.
Which controller is your go to color? Also with the interchangeable covers makes the limited edition systems not as exciting to grab which actually is nice for as expensive as the PS5 is currently.
I thought the PS4 Spiderman Console was one of the best and always wanted it and assumed I would get the next one if they made it but just dont have the urge. $600 is just to much, when you already have one.

How much is that one? It shows out of stock, that could be a deluxe Spiderman 2 controller based on the design and colors.
I had the Xbox Elite 1 but never used all the extras, that is my only experience with a deluxe controller.

As someone who currently only has an Xbox, I'm very annoyed it wont be coming out this year for that platform.

Well it's not coming to Xbox for awhile due to the whole, it has to play on XsS problem.

I might. I never bought it the first time, it was just a weekend rental for me and because of that I never played the DLC though I heard good things about it.

7-Aug-2023(#26)Its a great game, I got 100% 3 different times. I highly recommend it if you never played before. Do undead nightmare after the main story as it has major spoilers. I might do it again depending on which DLC trophies are added.

* 7-Aug-2023(#28)Feeb wrote:> Complaints are no MP. So no more MP trophies?
That would be great actually. All the bad trophies were MP related. I didn't care for the MP in this game or RD2, just not my thing. I did like the co-op missions and taking on hideouts with others, so that will be missed. The actual PvP wasn't that fun to me.
If this is a straight port I can see why they would just scrap the MP. It has been a mess for a long time because of hackers ruining the servers. Rockstar would reset the servers and you could play for a few days or even weeks then they would get messed up again. I guess given the way the game is coded and the older tech they couldn't do anything to stop it. Just reboot the server to temporarily fix it.

Its a great game, I wonder if they will at least update the controls to RD2 style. Since I just replayed it again last year I'll still probably wait until its $20 or cheaper. But its good enough I'd give it another playthrough.

Don't even have to pay full price for the digital version either ($20). You can go to gamestop and get a disc only version of the 360 release for $3 and pop that sucker in to unlock the digital download of the upscale/enhanced version.

At least with the switch, I can say it's the "first time the game is officially portable" and that's big for me as a portable game lover. But I'm not getting RDR.

Yea i read that about 64 version being included although I’m not sure I fully understand it lol, is it different in any specific way (other than not being upscaled)?
I bought Quake 1 remaster and loved it even though I only played the expansions and a bit of online, didn’t feel like redoing the original campaign. It was like 5 bucks on sale when I got it, plenty of value

I didn't find out until years later, but the N64 port of Quake 2 is almost a different game than the PC version. Very different level layouts and stuff. PS1 also had different levels than either version but I never played that one.

11-Aug-2023(#63)The Quake 2 remaster has a lot in it for $10. But I'm with Bill that I have a real hard time enjoying these games at this point. I can do it for one sitting the first night but never end up going back.
The videos I've seen look really good though and if I had fonder memories about Q2 or can enjoy retro stuff more I would jump in again. But even with an XSS next to my PS5 on the shelf I don't want to bother with it being "free" on GP.

My first quake was the original, and the modding community did some cool things with it. My favorite mod was quake rally which turned it into a racing game.

That reminds me of Duke Nukem: The Manhattan Project.
After Duke Nukem 3D became the hot thing, I was disappointed because I really enjoyed the 2D platformer-shooter gameplay of Duke Nukum and Duke Nukem 2.
But then they released Manhattan Project and it was a"2.5D" blast

15-Aug-2023(#73)I started up New Game+ in GOW (2018) and man, it's just such a damn good game. On PS5 it looks and runs really great, and I don't know if it has true 3D audio but with the sony headset it's direction for sure and sounds fantastic. Honestly this might be my #1 game of all time. I absolutely love everything about this (except for the optional fog section late in the game).
So far I've noticed that NG+ adds some new collectibles, equipment, new materials to upgrade said equipment, and remixes some enemies. And you can skip cutscenes.
