I've played the demo for an hour. It does look nice. I played through it twice on PS1, as each character. One of my favorite RPGs ever so definitely getting the remake.
The demo has some interesting additions, backgrounds look great, voice acting works, new summon feature bringing characters from Star Ocean 6. I didn't play the OG and demo progress will transfer to the main game so might as well play it if your going to play the full game at release.
