Massive entertainment being behind this has me excited. I loved the Division series so getting a fantasy setting to mask one of the few drawbacks in those games, bullet sponges, will be cool.
Friend of mine says Survivor is open world as well.
I always considered MMO games to be open world because when I hear open world, it's a large space and has multiple interactions whether through PCs, NPCs, the environment, etc.
Yeah I don't think you can forget MMOs as being open world simply b cause they are MMO's. Maybe first open world singleplayer game... Never played Survivor but if that is in anyway like FA, I don't know if I would call it open world.
