Yep. The difference here is that
they didn't develop any of those games.
They have a history of abandoning games and never fixing their issues. Their NeoGeo emulator releases used a hacked up version of the old Nebula emulator that they bought, but all of them have severe audio, video and gameplay problems - to the point that SNK stepped in and released fixed versions of Garou so they could sell it properly in other platforms. The first game I bought from them, Irem Arcade Hits... well they promised fixes and new games for years until one day they went "lol psych" and said they would not support the game anymore. Their Final Fantasy VIII "Remaster" has lots of issues on PC.
And a lot of their games tend to have broken achievements that well, never get fixed.
As a publisher they tend to be good (except for cases where they refused to pay to fix third party games they published, like Pang Adventures). But their track record as a developer, well, no.
