I've been on a real spending spree this year with the 3DS and Wii U eShops going down, and I've bought other games I was curious about while I was at it. While some of them I'm defintely planning to play in the near future, others require a little more motivation to start--especially the long ones. To help me, you can vote on a couple from this list. That may give me the kick in the pants I need to start some of these in 2023!

Final Fantasy VI Super Nintendo
Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Calibur Nintendo 64 (via Wii U)
Golden Sun: The Lost Age Game Boy Advance
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn Nintendo DS
Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade Game Boy Advance (via Wii U)
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones Game Boy Advance (via Wii U)
Magical Starsign Nintendo DS
Advance Wars Game Boy Advance (via Wii U)
Advance Wars: Black Hole Rising Game Boy Advance (via Wii U)
Advance Wars: Dual Strike Nintendo DS
Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis Nintendo DS
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem Nintendo DS
Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move Nintendo 3DS
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars Nintendo Wii U or Nintendo 3DS
The Denpa Men: They Came by Wave Nintendo 3DS
The Denpa Men 2 Nintendo 3DS
The Denpa Men 3 Nintendo 3DS
EX Troopers (Japanese) Nintendo 3DS
Puzzle & Dragons Z (Japanese) Nintendo 3DS
Ever Oasis Nintendo 3DS
Sakura Samurai Nintendo 3DS
Adventure Bar Story Nintendo 3DS
Adventure Labyrinth Story Nintendo 3DS
Yumi's Odd Oddyssey Nintendo 3DS
Tank Troopers Nintendo 3DS
Rhythm Heaven Megamix Nintendo 3DS
Crashmo Nintendo 3DS
Pushmo World Nintendo Wii U
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts Microsoft Xbox 360
Perfect Dark Zero Microsoft Xbox 360

So vote now, if you care. Thanks!

Final Fantasy 6! Definitely that one; it's near the pinnacle of the series for me.

I’ll also suggest FF 6. I’d really like to play Ogre Battle 64 myself one day.

The Denpa Men.

It's a slog but it's weird as heck. And if I did it, by gum, so can you.

I haven't done 2 or 3 yet.

It's also one of only two IPs I know of that use wifi signals as a gameplay element

Banjo was always a fun game for N64 so playing the Xbox one sounds like fun.

The 2 Golden Suns and 2 Advance Wars titles are, or were, in my GBA backlog back in the day - think I traded some on here long ago - I think I still have the 2nd Adv Wars and a save from circa 2005-6.
Pushmo World is a title I read about and got once I got my Nintendo Wii U so if you pick that LMK, I might give it a go myself.
Perfect Dark Zero got panned as not great, so you should play it laughing out loud

But FF6 surely has your most votes so far.

Golden Sun Dark Dawn.

I've been meaning to play that one for awhile. Maybe if you start it I'll be motivated to start it too :)

What about Chrono Trigger? I would add it to the list, but the votes have already rolled in.

Chrono has a pretty great sound track. Yasunoru Mitsuda is really skilled, imo.

I love Chrono Trigger too, but slightly prefer FFVI over it, so my vote would remain the same.

Bad news, guys: Upon looking through my SNES games, I don't have FFVI. I didn't want to disappoint you all, but there's not much I can do about that. Hope you guys don't feel led on.

All I have is Final Fantasy III for SNES. winking raspberry

This is fine, just don't play the US version of FFIV ("Final Fantasy II").

If you go into that one (assuming you mean the US one) knowing it was meant to be a beginner's RPG, it's a fun little game.

The votes are in! It's abundantly clear what you folks want me to play this year, and it ain't March of the Minis! So get ready, everyone: I'm going to pay Kefka a visit in a Mode 7 world of magic, mechs, and Moogles! I'm playing Final Fantasy VI Super Nintendo .
