For me, I've been eyeing the Taito version of the Super Pocket. Contains 18 Taito games plus a slot for evercade carts.

I haven't pulled the trigger because I already have an Evercade and a Taito Egret Mini II, but I really like the look and form factor of the thing.

As for games it's a little harder to narrow down to what I would want "the most."

Maybe some old DOS games like Jones in the Fast Lane (CD version) and Zeliard (an early Game Arts game brought to the west by Sierra).

Oh, the Tokyo xtreme Racer games on Dreamcast are also up there. They aren't ridiculous (yet) but still a bit high for the second game. I haven't had my DC hooked up outside of conventions in years though so I don't bite because when would I actually play them?

Ditto on that Taito Super Pocket. I have it saved in my Amazon cart and will probably buy if stock gets low. (If not before then.) Not interested in the Capcom one.

Besides that, FF Pixel Remaster is the main thing I'm looking to pick up at some point.

Yeah I have the EXP which has all the games on the Capcom pocket and then some.

Plus the color scheme on the Taito one is just better. I know the Blue and Yellow are meant to evoke the Capcom logo, but it just looks poo on the system compared to the black and green of the Taito.

Gotta be better than those $20 "one chip challenge" things where you literally get a single (very spicy) tortilla chip.

Club Nintendo had a few rewards in the 2010s that I never had a chance to properly obtain. The Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon diorama was a notable one. I found it a few years later at a flea market, for an inflated price of $50. If I'd know its future value, I'd have bought it.

They released a set of metal coins to promote Xenovlade Chronicles, The Last Story, and Pandora's Tower. This is some of the only merchandise the latter two games ever received, and I wasn't interested when they launched. Needless to say, they're very pricy these days.

The reviews for Asgards Wrath 2 really has me eyeing a meta quest 3. I've been waiting for steam's standalone headset for ages, but i'm at the point where i might just give up and go for the quest 3.

I was thinking of things that actually exist - if we are going for made up stuff, there's a lot of things I would like to see.

The return of arcades to their former glory being at or near the top of my list, along with budget re-releases of every expensive Saturn game, the Dreamcast 2 launching with full backwards compatibility with all of Sega's old systems, Taito and Capcom carts on Evercade and not just built into systems...

Speaking of arcades coming back to their former glory, be careful what you wish for.

I really want to play Aka & Blue Type-R. It has such a cool TLB! But no arcades near me have it and it’s exclusive to the EXA-Arcadia

No options to pirate it either

I've gotten back into working models this year, and I've been on the lookout for video game related garage kits.

I have a few Darkstalkers kits, and a kit of Sol from Guilty Gear. I would really like to find kits of Mega Man X, Cornet from Rhapsody, and Demitri from Darkstalkers.

Not a whole lot I can think of currently besides PlayStation VR2, which I'll be getting in a few weeks anyway.
For items that don't exist yet, whatever Nintendo's doing with their next console, just speed it up already. It's time.

edit: Oh yeah, and maybe a Steam Deck.

It’d be fun to find a Cubivore toy figure. They’re obscure and rare.

Don't make the lack of availability in your current arcades as a reason not to want arcades to make a comeback.

If arcades went back to their former glory, there would be more of them near all of us and a far wider selection of games.

Even grocery stores, restaurants, laundromats, etc. would often have a random machine or two.

I thought of the thing I currently want most.

A copy of a game released in Africa. I have at least one game from every other continent (except Antarctica and no one has yet published a game there) so it would be neat to complete the "world tour" as it were.

I'm pretty much done collecting (in fact, I've been selling a lot of stuff off), there's only like two SNES games I really want and among those Prince of Persia 2 is at the top (so if you have a copy to trade please let me know :D). Beat Prince of Persia for SNES a month ago and loved it, can't wait to play the second. Not many retro games really get my attention, but this one did... it also conquered me as a child and I was back to redeem myself, so there is that.

Supposedly, the Fire Emblem Echoes Special Edition bundle on Europe came with a unique t-shirt. I have never seen proof of its existence, but I’d very much like to own it if it’s real.

My dream item would probably be an N64 kiosk.

I have very fond memories of playing the one my orthodontist had back in the day.

I feel like I saw a Nintendo Fun Center while doing volunteer work in some warehouse years ago. I could be misremembering the event, though.

I was talking about this thing. It seems to have been an entertainment center that was used in children's hospitals. Apparently, it was sponsored by Snapple.
