To cut a long story short; I sent my game but have not received anything back, not even an email despite many appeals from myself. As others have had the same problem with Mike I may as well post this Bad Trader Report now. It is rather omnious that the day we agreed to trade (August 22) was the last time anyone heard from Mike. I will be delighted to remove this report when I receive my trade and a believable explanation.

I hate to even report this because this guy seemed like such a nice guy. I am hoping he isn't in the hospital or dropped dead or something! If so, I apologize but if "bad trader" means "someone who takes your games and doesn't send you anything in return and doesn't bother to tell you why" then this guy is a bad trader.

My first trade with him was initiated on July 17th. After a couple of weeks of mutual email problems we got it straightened out and got our addresses properly exchanged and I thought everything was fine. I mailed out my end of the trade (we had expanded it by the time I actually mailed). He had several good rating so I didn't see a problem with mailing at what I thought was approximately the same time. I sent him two games and he was supposed to send me 3 in return (due to one of my games being a newer and bigger one). I didn't hear from him nor receive a game for about another week. Then he emailed me and told me that he would send his games out "one tomorrow" which was August 17th and "the others in 3 days" which would have been August 19th. That is the last I have heard from him. I have repeatedly emailed him and he does not answer my emails. He has not visited the Zone since August 22nd. I have not received anything from him. I have contacted some of the other people on his pending list and they have not heard from him either. It has now been almost exactly two months since we initiated the first trade. Since my average trades take about 6 days this is pretty much an indication to me that he doesn't intend to keep his end of the deal.

If I can be reasonably convinced that he was incapacitated and unable to mail I will take this down AFTER I have received my games back or my end of the trade.
