I bought a couple Google Nest doorbells. Unfortunately they won't fit where I originally planned and they will have to be installed on brick.
What's a good way to attach without having to actually drill into my brick?
Would this in theory work? https://www.walmart.com/ip/Yabuy-4-PCS-Brick-Hook-...
I'm unsure how exactly the backplate attaches and I don't want to open the units without a plan for install.
Any help would be appreciated.

If I'm understanding the doorbell installation and setup video correctly, the doorbells would not work for that particular brick hook clip because your doorbells will need to be screwed into place. The doorbells won't hang as those brick clips are meant for hanging. If you find clips that allow you to screw/attach the part of the doorbell to it as if you were screwing into the brick/wall, it might work. I tried looking for you but haven't been successful.

My first thought was to use 3M industrial outdoor double-sided mounting tape (make sure to pick a version with a temperature range appropriate to your climate). Still might be iffy on brick, depending on how rough the surface is.

I was in the same boat as you for my security cameras, just ended up getting some masonry bits and drilling as I couldn't find a decent solution that would hold up to the weather. If you do end up figuring something out, I'd be interested for future projects. One of the few downsides of a brick house lol

I think you would do more damage with those over time. You will need to charge your battery and will apply pressure to those clips, especially at the end. They'll just, at best, grind the edge of the brick and at worse: break a chunk off.
