Would this make a great game??
K9 - Special Canine Unit

You play as 4 different types of dogs (using the controls like Stray: that cat game)
- Police K9
- Drug sniffing K9
- Search K9
- Snow Rescue K9

The tutorials for each dog would be a 'training the dog' type of intro, where you learn the controls of each dog. Then you play a few levels as each dog. You catch criminals, bomb sniff, search rubble from earthquakes/avalanches, etc

What other concept would be a cool idea for a video game that hasn't been put out yet?

Throw a Jim Belushi cameo there and you have a winner.

Kinda tied in with what you are saying...I'd love a game where you control someone like Halle Berry's Sofia Al-Azwar character in John Wick 3...where you have 2 highly trained dogs to command while you fight.

I know there is edutainment games, but most of them are low budget crap. I often thought a solid indie developer should do a physics based game that actually teaches you physics. I remember making things in LBP just to play with the physics engine. My kids enjoy seeing what dumb things they can do in GOAT simulator. Surely it wouldn't be too hard to pack a lesson in there. Would be nice to have different age levels so after they learn concepts they could learn the mathematics behind it. Maybe I'm just weird.

Chipmunk simulator:
Dig your burrow!
Defend your territory from other chipmunks!
Find and cache food!
Don't get eaten by predators!

Bird feeder simulator: start off with a simple feeder with one type of food. Gradually gain access to other types of feeders and foods to attract more and different birds. Season system enables simulation of bird migrations. Curse at squirrels stealing your birdseed.

I’d love to see a Pokémon-type game but with a much darker tone, more of a survival horror feel, and hyper-realistic graphics.

I always wanted a light gun RPG. Light gun with simple d-pad or joy stick and maybe a couple of buttons. Navigate with buttons. Use light gun to kill enemies. Leveling gives you more power, faster shooting, various effects, area based attacks, etc. With the basis of this, do multiplayer as well.

Graphics aside, there's probably a fan made Pokemon game that's something like that.

The concept makes me think of vampire survivor, where all you do is move, and your ugrades determine how your attacks/stats go.

Yeah, I discovered it last year while in my CCNA classes. We were talking about video games and somehow Palworld came up and I'm like "Okay, this looks like it'll be fun."
