If I had to pick which one of them died in a hot tub I would have put my money on Joey.

I know he's been clean for years - he was very open about his issues with addiction, and lobbied for more help for addicts... even ran a clinic to help them. But I guess the damage finally caught up to him. RIP to the only good character in that awful show.

It's really sad. He was too young. Of course people on SM and making up a bunch of dumb COD. There isn't enough information to determine what caused him to drown. They said there were no drugs around. They said there was no foul play. They haven't even had chance to do an autopsy. This really stinks. I really liked him as an actor and a comedian. I loved his role in the show. Joey was the character that I would raise hell with and have fun with. Chandler is a type of guy I would marry. Several of us used to get together specifically to watch the show every week. It was a really fun time for us. This is sad.

but when I die, as far as my so-called accomplishments go, it would be nice if Friends were listed far behind the things I did to try to help other people.

So sad and shocked by this! In saying that I know they said no drugs or foul play was found but I hope matthew did not intentionally drown himself or something.😭
