Mario Strikers is a lot of fun. Good deal for games that usually don't get down to $30 much

Really unfortunate that it's only Switch for Octopath 2. Guess I'm playing that on Switch instead (was planning PS4).

Yeah. I was hoping the PS5 version of that would work, but it didn’t. Also, Like a Dragon: Ishin! for PS4 is part of the sale but not the PS5 version, and there’s no free upgrade. Otherwise, I would have jumped on those two games.

That doesn't mean GameStop doesn't do it right sometimes. I've heard stories on both sides of the coin. And I've encountered some great employees at GameStop who went out of their way to help. But that "brand new" resealed business, ugh.

It's not even re-sealed. It's just a sticker. 99% of the time, if they have 1 copy of a "new" game in store according to the site, it's an opened copy.

Wow! That's a decent deal if what you want's on their availability list. I literally just pulled the trigger on six pre-owned titles when their "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" sale was wrapping up yesterday on all used accessories, consoles, and video games. With tax, title, and license, I paid USD $173.18, or USD $28.86 apiece, for:

Ah. Yeah, that's happened to me too.i don't like it either and sometimes I've kept the game and sometimes I've returned it.

They have sent me "used" games that have been unopened too though. I tried to buy a play copy of Radiant Historia since I have the unopened collectors edition but they sent me a new copy.

I didn't open it either. 🤣 It's one of the reasons I don't necessarily mind getting open games. My backlog is so big I end up with stacks of unopened games and then I don't want to open them.

I did finish it for DS though and I'm unsure how much they added or if it justifies another play through.

I don't know. It was towards the end of the 3DS's life when GS was having having crazy sales just trying to clear out inventory.

I hope I was getting reverse trolled though.

Got Mario golf and soccer today- both are brand new shrink wrapped.

I stopped in one Gamestop today and they had both the Metroid/EMMI Amiibo set and the Zelda Loftwing Amiibo for $5 each. Their website said they had zero Zeldas and two Metroid sets. They had 3 metroid sets and 1 zelda. Not a big deal as I planned on opening it, but taking the GS sticker off Zelda tore the packaging. If I was collecting it I'd have been angry.
