https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/octopus-arcade-...This project has been making the rounds in retro circles the past few weeks. It's trying to be the "one arcade stick to rule them all" with high quality arcade parts and swappable cables that allow it to connect to different consoles.
It started out with just USB and Dreamcast support (including a built-in backlit VMU), but as they've crossed certain stretch goals, they've added support for a number of other older platforms, including the Saturn and Neo Geo. They just posted a new list of stretch goals that covers other retro platforms that are less popular for arcade ports. I doubt they're going to double their money in two days, though, which is what it'd take to make those goals relevant.
I'm interested in this project because arcade sticks are big and clunky, and I'd love to consolidate the two I have in rotation. So far, I've heard nothing but praise for the project and the parts being used.
What does everyone else think, especially if you use an arcade stick often?
