My Trading Policy:
(PLEASE READ) DISCLAIMER: If you are not 17 years of age and you trade me for a game that has an "M" Rating, I AM ABSOLUTELY NOT RESPONSIBLE for YOUR ACTIONS. So, if you are not old enough to play an "M" Rated game, get your parents permission before you ask to trade for an "M" Rated game. Or tell your parents to read my disclaimer before you trade with me because I don't want any angry emails from them. I would hate to tell them they really need to be more aware of what their kid is doing on the Internet. No one likes to be told that they are a horribly crappy parent, so please folks, don't put me or them in that situation. Thanks .
If you make me a Trade Offer, I will always answer you in a timely manner, so please, if I make you a trade offer and you "view" it, please take the time to answer back. If you don't like my offer, please just click "decline offer" (which takes less than two seconds). Also, if I make someone an offer and it is not answered or "viewed" in at least 24 hours, I will usually go ahead and cancel it. I'm not trying to be picky or mean about this policy, it's just that it is extremely irritating (as many of you already know) when an offer is "viewed" (leading one to think that the other trader may be interested in the offer) and yet it is never answered. A little communication can go a long way here at Game Trading Zone, plus it's just the "polite" thing to do.
I usually go by Amazon.com prices. So please, if you go by another online store's prices, let me know. Amazon seems the most reasonable to me because other places like GameStop usually have outrageous prices.
Whoever has less feedback must send first. It also does not matter who initiates the trade first. HIGHEST feedback is the ONLY factor that determines who sends first. I'm sorry, but I also do not accept eBay or TGN feedback ratings, only Game Trading Zone feedback ratings will be accepted for the very simple reason that this is the "Game Trading Zone" and not eBay or TGN. Negative feedback of any kind must send first - NO MATTER WHAT. Once a trade has been agreed upon and officially accepted by both parties there can be no backing out without NEGATIVE repercussions. Also, once a trade has been agreed to, the agreement cannot be amended in any way by either party concerned. This literally means that after a trade has been agreed to, I do not want to get an email from the other trader wanting "more" games, movies, money, etc., than was originally agreed upon. This is Game Trading Zone's rule as well as my rule, and when you really think about it in "real world" terms, it's only fair because once a deal has been made in the real world, it cannot be broken without serious repercussions. Also, once a trade has been "finalized", please don't wait one to two weeks (or more) to send. I would NEVER make another trader wait that long to get their game(s) and it's only right that I shouldn't have to wait that long either. Depending on the circumstances of the trade, negative or neutral feedback may be left for anyone taking seven days or more to send their end of the trade. I think that almost everyone here at TGN who has had to wait forever for their game(s) to arrive would agree on this policy.
As everyone here at the Game Trading Zone knows, HONESTY is the KEY to great trades. So please, be honest about the condition of your games. Let me know if they are not exactly "complete or damage free" because I really do understand that some games are just old and hard to keep mint. I will still want most games even if they are not in mint condition, so just be honest and we can work something out. In return, all you have to do is ask and I will give you a complete detailed description of my games (with pics if requested).
Games should be packed securely in sturdy packages, padded envelopes, etc. Please don't send stuff flimsy packages.
As according to the official Game Trading Zone rules, shipping is the sole responsibilty of each trader. If you do not have enough money (or any money at all) to cover your own end of the shipping, then DO NOT TRADE WITH ME. Also, DO NOT send me an e-mail after you have shipped wanting me to kick in some money on your shipping cost because it cost more than you thought it would to send to me. That is not my fault nor my responsibilty. And, for those of you that don't know, regular US mail is the CHEAPEST way to send. Fed-Ex, UPS, and other mail sevices like that are outrageously expensive. So, please, follow the official Game Trading Zone rules and cover your own end of the shipping costs.
As a personal rule, I always send every trade with USPS Delivery Conifirmation. I also always send the other trader the online DC Tracking numbers so they too can keep track of the game. Of course, anyone that trades with me is by no means obligated to use Delivery Confirmation, but for only 70 or 80 cents extra, it really does ensure for a problem free trade. So please, give it some thought.
Buyer always sends first unless the buyer has WAY more feedback.
If I did something wrong or if you are unhappy with your end of the trade, please let me know before leaving negative feedback. I will make every effort to make things right. I will also do the same for you if I am not happy with the trade. I believe that in this world that things sometimes happen that are beyond our control and that everyone deserves a second chance to make things right.
I do my very best to check my e-mail and the Game Trading Zone message center every day, so feel free to send me a question, or just a notice that you sent your item, etc. If you want me to communicate with you, please provide your e-mail address or keep in touch at the Game Trading Zone message center.
THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY AVAILABLE GAMES.
