Comment (last update: 12-May-2009 1:59pm) I am an adult gamer. By adult I mean, in my 30's. ALL of my games are opened, but in PRISTINE condition. I am open to any advice on what constitutes a fair trade, and if you think a trade is not cool, don't be a DICK about it, just counter with something that sounds fair, or simply say you are not interested.
I have recently bought a silver PS2, so I am trying to land some good PS2 games to play. I play on XBox LIVE, and on PC. I just bought a new 80 GB PS3 this month (October 08). I spend most of my time in the Southern California canyons on my ZX-14, and with my family. Gaming has not been as prevelant in my life lately, but it is making a comeback with me. And for the DICK's out there, I don't think a fair trade means that you have to match dollar for dollar. If you bought a game new, and you are trading it on this site, chances are you didn't like it. So, I think a good, fair trade is when you get something you really want for something you played once and regret purchasing. So, don't give me this 'that game is only worth $X.XX dollars now, and I just bought this 4 days ago!'. Just because I bought Chromehounds for $60 when it came out, and you bought Pure this past month, PLEASE don't give me this 'fair price' BULLCRAP. We both paid the same price for A game that we didn't like. And clowns, Ico ain't worth what some of you idiots think it is. Used is USED, so don't be a bender when you turn down my offers. These are just games, not money. My simple rules I try to abide by, and hopefully you will too: 1) I really only want games that are in excellent condition. If I am trading a game in excellent condition, I expect the same back. AND, I only want games WITH the manuals and cases in excellent condition. Depending on the game, I MAY accept very good or good condition. Case by case decision obviously. 2) People hold me to the 'if you have less trades, then you send first!', which I think is total BS. In my book, feedback is king. If I have higher ratings, then YOU should be sending first. 3) Priority is preferred, but first class will do, and tracking is MANDATORY. 4) And last but NOT least, DON'T BE A DICK! (as explained above...) Let's do some tradin'! | ||
