Comment (last update: 25-Aug-2008 3:30am) Bad Traders (you f*cked up pretty bad if you're on this list):
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- pimpdaddysmurf on CAG - I traded him a brand new HDLoader for some DC games. Gave me bullsh*t excuses for over a month -- weather, school, etc. had prevented him from shipping. After a month I told him to send me my games immediately. The next day he tells me he has shipped, but didn't get delivery confirmation we had agreed on because he didn't want to waste money on my ass. Then, instead of sending me the games I waited a month for, he sends back my HDLoader, used, with no explanation. Then he starts telling people that I traded him a bootleg, and that was why he sent it back, even though he used it for several weeks and didn't complain until I told him to fulfill his end of the trade. My HDLoader was not a bootleg. I ordered 10 copies of it from consolesource.com and every single copy had the barcode on it, unlike the fakes. He would later ammend his accusation, stating that I had actually sent him a CD-R copy, not simply a bootleg. I traded plenty of these here and on CAG, and sold some on eBay, and everyone else seemed pretty pleased. If you can't admit you were wrong, don't try to pretend that I'm the one who ripped you off. Gamesrfun - This person offered me an item I wanted, in exchange for a Dreamcast dance pad. I never stated or implied that it was Konami-brand, and there was no reason for him to assume this, since the vast majority of DC pads are third-party. We agreed to ship at the same time, even though he had less than half my feedback. I shipped immediately. He waited until he received the dance pad (a week later) to ship my item. A couple days later, while my item was still in the mail, he e-mailed me and told me that he had just gotten around to opening the package I sent him. He said that it was not Konami-brand, as he had thought, and that he had been ripped off, and that I owed it to him to send him a mint copy of Iron Storm for the Sega Saturn to make it up to him. I told him that I didn't feel I owed him anything, as I did not misrepresent my item in even the most subtle of ways, and that I resented the implication that I had ripped him off. I further told him that I would not add anything else, after he had delayed shipping until receiving my package and then accused me of lying to him. I told him that I would be willing to cancel the trade, provided he paid for return shipping on both items, and reimbursed me for my original shipping cost. He apparently did not like this idea, because the next day I got an e-mail from the GameTZ Dispute Resolution Council telling me that he had accused me of misrepresenting my item. I explained the situation to them, and in their infinite wisdom they immediately turned him down. | ||
